MakeUpJunkie said:This is absolutely pathetic. I just bought a copy of the new Allure (which I subscribe to already) just so I can cut up the magazine without guilt.
The worst part? I can't figure out the best way to cut it. Its a GREAT issue. I don't want to ruin it. Any advice?

Once you've done that, you should be able to carefully peel off each page on the two sides of where you sliced without damaging or tearing the entire page. Just keep peeling from that point on and slice more if necessary

I try to tear through the others and only keep the Vogues; I'm working on every Anna helmed issue (since 11/89)... I think medication is called for; I now have over 30 binders full of fashion shows (curse you, Wire Image and FirstView!!) ads and editorials... Maybe a fashion 12 step program is in order...!!
donner said:Indeed. As another straight guy who loves fashion magazines--I usually pick up the US and British issues of Vogue, Elle and HB, Italian Flair and Vogue plus others (sometimes many others) that catch my eye. Finally picked up a scanner a couple of years ago--it was the best $200 I ever spent--so that now I have lots of edits and ads scanned and burned onto CDs. Saves a lot of space.
