What do you regret not buying?

There was a boutique that sold the most gorgeous pieces of clothing I've ever seen right near my house and I always passed it on my home. They always had the nicest things in the window display and one of them was a beige tunic I've been dying to get. They went out of business a few weeks ago cos it was very expensive and not a lot of people shopped there and that makes me so sad. It was such a cute place.

A Zadig & Voltaire gray oversized sweater made of yak wool from Fall '07...it was ridiculously expensive, but it was unfrigginbelievably gorgeous.

Sigh...these black, round-toe, over-the-knee flat boots from Zara from last winter. They were fake, matte leather, and had patent toes and detailing. They were only about 70-80 euros, but I was extremely broke at the time. Oh wait, I still am.

It's rare that I find a pair of boots that I absolutely fall in love with, and I so wanted these.

the ALAIA white cross strap chunky heeled sandals... went for so cheap on ebay now nowhere to be found!!!

Rayban sunglasses.. oh well ill do it this summer

A bright red leather hobo drawstring satchel by Tod's at Homme et Femme in Manila that was on sale.

A black leather double belt by Antik Batik from Printemps.

A pair of black patent leather Miu Miu platform ankle boots on sale for $100 at Nordstrom's in my size.

A gorgeous vintage monkey fur coat at a vintage show.

A really pretty 1930s playsuit in a rose print with a very thin, matching robe from online.

A daisy print dress from the 1930s on ebay that is the exact same print and cut as the dress from the new Kate Moss collection.

A Baccarat cocktail ring from the local Saks that was going out of business and probably all the perfume and bags that were on sale because of that!! Too bad I was so clueless to perfume before that.

The Circus dresses at Bon Marche, because I love the print and cut no one carries this brand at all here.

And not visiting Caron, Guerlain, Parfums de Nicolai and all the wonderful perfume boutiques when I was in Paris.

The Pegasus earrings from Tatty Devine.

Oh c'mon, sean! You haven't passed up on something and then later wish you hadn't? I don't believe it if you say no...

Well, maybe for a little while, and I suppose it depends on if we're talking clothes or just purchases in general, but as a whole I don't regret most things. I'll admit to a few things, though!

A tan leather bag from Portobello Market...but by the time I'd made up my mind to buy it, it had gone  and it was soooo gorgeous

the jacket of my dreams, the balenciaga FW07 multicolored boucle' tweed for $500 in barneys SF in december... but to be fair I didn't start lusting after it until late january... and now it is nowhere to be found :( crossing my fingers it will come up in yoox this coming fall...

I definitely regret passing up on the Dior Homme three wolves blazer... :( Good luck finding one new now. Oh, and a pair of white and blue Helmut Lang runners on sale... and that Jil Sander heavy braided sweater from last winter, and that Burberry Prorsum slim detailed trench that literally fell off the face of the planet... I have a lot of regrets

Around October last year I went to Barney's and found these amazing Chloe pumps, but decided not to get them because I had just gotten these boots:doh:
Since then I've been desperately trying to find them everywhere! They're light brown leather with a 3.5 or 4 inch wooden heel and surprisingly comfortable.

A secondhand 1960s coat/cape thing I saw a month ago. Warm indigo blue, well-starched cotton... the base of the coat is a sleeveless trench-shape, buttoned and belted [the belt goes under the fabric at the back and over it at the front]... over this is a cape in the same material, same length as the coat, to keep your arms dry. And it had a big lovely classic trench-coat collar.

It was £60 and I couldn't have left the house without feeling like Alice-in-Wonderland-Goes-to-Nursing-School but oh, I adored it.
