No matter what, we all have them-- fat days. If you're like me and have been travelling a lot for work and eating on the go, it can seem more like fat weeks...
What's your solution for feeling comfortable, doing a bit of damage control (i.e., camoflage), and still looking good?

Sigh...I'm quite thin and I have many fat days....normally sweatpants or a billowing dress I feel delicate and tiny in :D

When I'm feeling bloated, I can't stand anything with a button fly or zipper. That's right, ladies, I'm talking elastic waist (eek!). With that in mind, I have to ask, McFly, are your gauchos those cotton ones from recent years past? At times like this, I'm so sad those aren't still in. If so, how do you update them?

i usually wear skinny jeans and a loose top/sweater. and a big bag so i look smaller.

i wear a craftan! nah.. jus kidding. i hate craftans .
i wear bootcut jeans in a darker shade. for me, loose fitting clothes dont work. i neerd to wear something cut v snug. and actually, i look forward to the bloat cos i have virtually no boobs. when i get the bloat, i celebrate it with lower cut tops. otherwise i'm wearing a long skirt with a low waist with a tank that covers my tummy

I normaly put on a black skirt and a black top that I feel great in and then I put on bright bangles and A big bag.
Allso Love wearing this black empire dress wchite is great for layering

i feel more comfy in dresses then i do in tight pants so on my crabby slobby days i normally wear a short dress and then a jumper over the top.

Ill wear jumpers to cover the stomach area, or dresses. Dresses seem to hide any odd bumps!

i can only wear dresses if i go out for dinner because if i wear anything that sits firm or tight on my guts i get cramps after eating.

My 'fat days' are every day, so I wear what I always wear.

As I'm having some problems with my eating (psychological problems)...I'm not fat, but it seems like my head likes to think so, so I wear a lot of black and kind of more mature pieces...I wear the most simple things.

I like wearing clothes with more structure that don't cling to my body. Like I would wear a button-down woven on top. It doesn't really show your shape but you still look neat. THen maybe black pants, chinos, or jeans on the bottom depending on where I'm going. Hiding my body but still not looking sloppy. Unless I have no where to go. Then I don't get dressed and stay comfy in pajama pants and a wife beater.:ninja:

Exactly the case with myself as well. I can get quite boring, than try to pretend i'm actually just being a fashion-forward "minimalist," when I really don't know what the hell i'm doing

Today I bought (it was actually purchased from a returned birthday present, so woot!) a cotton shift dress with a tied-on empire waist. So cute and so great for beating the heat AND the bloat. Awesome.

Does anyone else's feet feel the pain when it's the wrong time of the month and/or the wrong side of a too-salty meal? At such dark times, I find myself wearing flipflops and the like. I'm such a heels girl, too! Oh well...

I think fat day clothes are best when they're a darker colored print. Solids and light colors aren't as good at camoflage.

I like the idea of skinny jeans because my legs are always thin, even if my middle and chest are looking a bit too... um... voluptuous. Then again, anything squeezing in on my tummy is uncomfortable and ug. I somethings do low-slung mini skirts for this reason-- distract with the legs and give the waist plenty of breathing room.
