Looking pale and looking washed out are two different things  If you look pale, hey, some of us are  If you look washed out, then it's not your color & returning it is probably a good idea.

I'm thinking of buying this dress and dying it black...purple makes me look like death.

And then silver accessories...I think I'll wear it with a tux jacket with the sleeves rolled up. And probably black patent flats.

This is what I wore to my Debs last Summer... I got it from Lipsy and I wore it with a few purple and gold bangles, purple shoes, purple clutch and gold hippy style chandelier earrings! I was so comfortable and loved it.... Now I have to find a new one for this years Debs! :o

For my prom, we have to come up with a theme, and I seriously have no idea what our theme should be...any suggestions?

Oh ok, sorry! www.polyvore.com...... Is that ok, I'm new??!

Welcome to tFS :flower:

You can't credit to polyvore or Google, it needs to be the original website the picture came from. Also, since we're getting technical here, credits should not be links, but they should provide enough information for someone to get there. ebay is fine (unless it's an alternate eBay site), but if it's a New Zealand site, for example, you should include the .nz so someone can use the information you provide to get there.

Guys I need help!

can anyone suggest a website or shop that stocks prom dresses that are differnt and unique??!
I don't want to look like everyone else at my Debs..... Want to look different :D

I was thinking about wearing something like this one on Doutzen. What do you guys think?

celebutopia

I'm really not into those colourful dresses,I really like a simple black one,so I think something like this one would be nice.

^ If that's what you want, that's what you should have  I like Doutzen's dress.

^I agree. If that's what you feel the most comfortable in, then you should just go ahead and wear it.

Can't wait to try my dress tomorrow. I think I'll love it!^_^

Thank you for your comments fashionista-ta and The_Ida:heart:

I'm ready for my prom!:woot: Yesterday I finally got the dress. The designer was really adorable and she did it well, the dress is just the way I wanted to be.B)
Her friend, who is also a designer, made me matching python leather belt that sits on the hips, I think it's cool.^_^ I'll post a pic of the whole outfit on Wednesday.

Hey guys Im going to prom on the 22nd of May, but its quite a special situation, as Im actually living in Germany, but Ive spent a high-school year over in Nottingham (UK), and now Im coming back for their prom.
Like probably everywhere its a huge deal for them there and they're all wearing these very very elegant, mostly long, dresses. Bad for me, Im living on the dullest countryside you can imagine, so my only chance are online-shops.
Do you have like any suggestions which online shop is good for prom dresses ?! Ive already looked at asos and opshop but theres not really smth I like
Im planning to spent about 300€ for dress + shoes, so maybe you have a idea for me ?! My style is rather edgy-cool, so I definitely do not want the typical pink fluffy ball gown, rather smth short but still elegant. Classy with a twist so to say
TIA :flower:

My prom was yesterday.:P Here they are.
