Where Will The Next Invasion Be From?

I don't really care where the next "invasion" is from. But there needs to be an invasion of prettiness. Most of the famous models of today are not pretty. A lot of the "it girls" of today are either plain or flat-out ugly. Whatever happened to classic beauty?

My girlfriends from the Phillipines are all so beautiful, but I don't envision a wave from the Pacific Islands since women from those countries tend to be too petite for modeling.

I remember hearing about one model of Aboriginal descent. She was stunning and I'd love to see more girls with indigenous backgrounds (anything from Mayan to Maori would be great!)

It's going to be West Island girls, they're just like Brazilians. They are mixed, tanned, exotic, tall, beautiful, I could keep going. West Indians women are beautiful, slim, and still have curves. I am Barbadian/English and Irish-American. My boyfriend is Chinese-Jamaican and Puerto-Rican. My best friend is Haitian and Chinese. The W.I. are soo diverse, I can't wait until they catch on. Also I would love to see more aboriginal models. Samantha Harris is stunning!


Also models from India, Bengaldesh, etc. They are absolutely stunning.

The next invasion will be Dutch (from The Netherlands) for sure...style.com already announced it and it makes pure sense. All those girls that were starting to be noticed the past few months graduated this month, so SS 08 will be booming with Dutch girls who have all the time on their hands it needs to totally own fashion week.

girls are lovely over there.. pretty and lanky as needed.. it's just sad to see that many latin american agencies take their girls under some hediously skanky makeovers (simple and complicated (surgery!) ones) which makes them highly unappealing overseas.. if they'd just keep it natural like their brazilian neighbours have succeed at, they'd probably have more chances of exportation.
