definetely long hair..it's a classic
I agree even if i have not long hair ! it's more feminine :P

I've tried everything. Long hair short hair medium hair. curly hair and straight hair..

I like the way I look with slightly longer than shoulder lenght hair.

It honestly depends on what your face is like.

My sisters face is much too round to opt for short hair, especially because her hair is so curly. One of my best friends has wonderful curls and has shoulder length hair, but she always wears it pulled back...when she wears it down she gets so many compliments, I don't understand why she doesn't always keep it down!!

The hair lenght definetely depends on your personal style and your features. I can not phatom me with super short hair. This is the shortest I've been in a long while and I refuse to go shorter because I look much too young.

Girls with long hair want short hair, and girls who have short hair want long hair.

It's the way of the world
Haha that's exactly the way I am.

I have always loved pale pale blonde hair, almost white, like Dewi, Gwen, and Marilyn. I am so terrified of trying it though and having it look horrible! I have pale skin with a pink undertone, and light brown eyebrows. My eyes are a light green/blue. When I was born, my hair was black, and shed out to a very pale blonde. I love seeing pictures of me as a child with that beautiful blonde hair! Then it started to darken, and was a about a light brown when I started dying it. I've dyed it every shade of red and brown. The lightest it has been was a dark blonde.

When you go that light, do you bleach it and then put in pale blonde color?

Should I take the risk?

I would think you'd have to bleach it. Apparently that damages the hair though.
However, if you love the colour that much... :flower:

Indeed. It wouldn't be as soft and silky as a child's natural pale blonde hair. Bleaching can often make hair straw-like. I'm sure there are intensive conditioners and treatments out there to prevent/remedy straw-like texture...you'd have to ask someone who bleaches her/his hair for recommendations.

i would try something on to relate the hair color to your skin

i used to have white hair when i was a little girl and it looked fine.. very soft and pretty but i once died my hair blonde and it made me look horribly pink  so even if find a horrid wig of the same color try it on!

bleaching your hair is quite bad for it and it may fall out in some extreme cases... but this shouldn't happen if you have a reliable hair dresser. definatley deep condition a lot after you have it dyed if you do!!

My mom is a cosmetolegist and she wears her hair platinum blonde and loves it. She said that you should go to a salon and get it professinally done. But she said that you would bleach it first, and than tone it to the right color.

And no, bleaching will NOT ruin your hair unless you do it obsessively and do it yourself. If you get your hair done in a professional salon, you will have nothing to worry about.

I have had my hair bleached several times, but what I do is I get a conditioning treatment on it (it should cost about 15 dollars), and it does wonders. Your hair is so amazingly soft and strong after you get it.

Good Luck!!!

Maybe try on a wig in that colour, just to be sure that it's what you really want.

oh my god thats exactly what my hair did! and just recently i was pulling out pictures of me with that white beautiful blonde hair and gahhhing over it. my hair is now a dirty blonde but i was thinking of how lovely it would be to have that color hair again.

I like long hair on me. Short hair doesn't suit me at all. But look at Halle Berry, she is a stunner with pixie cut hair. It's all in the face.

I think short hair requires a face with strong/striking features to really look great.
Long hair works for everyone young, IMO. Long, full hair is awesome

I must be the only one who thinks that if you have a round face you should opt for short hair with bangs that fall at yourcheekbones. A hairstyle with a high crown helps elongate your face too. If your face is round you should never have a super straight and flat hairstyle that wears close to your face because it will only emphasize on the roundness. Lots of volume and body is good on a round face but don't overdo it.

Personally I got through phases. Generally when I have long hair I want short, and vise versa. Right now I'm trying to grow it, but we'll see how long before I eventually crack. Although, pictures of Lily Cole do help to keep me motivated...

definatly long hair.

mine was long but the other month i had it all cut off

and now i want to grow it again!!!

I go through phases too, I have had my hair a bit longer then Lily Cole's actually in the past and it was dyed black...currently it is short but soon I will prolly get bored and get bangs and dye it to be redder....the redder the better. :D

I go through phases too...i have hair extensions put in my hair...so sometimes i have it really long and then sometimes i take the extensions ou and just have it shoulder lenght...
