Yay or Nay - Hairstyles and Colours

I prefer long hair for me. I like feeling feminine and having short hair makes me feel like a boy.

i've had just about every length possible, down to my butt, half way down my back at my shoulders, chin streaked and choppy, and now i have very little, i shaved my hair off, people say it suits me, i have quite deffined cheek bones, but i get fed up of it some days and wear a wig, in a way i have more freedom, i could buy a lot of wigs and have different hair everyday. Some days i just like to be wigless, some days i like hats, it really depends on the person what will suit them.

I'm being blackmailed to keep my hair long by my girlfriend...'tis a sad life...

I saw a lady with hair down to her thighs, I fell in love
Awwwh, maybe you'll find her one day and she'll let you brush it for her

I have hair about 6 cms past my shoulders, and I'm trying to grow it.
By the end of the year it shall be the length I want. I voted long hair

Also about colouring etc...I had lighter streaks in my hair (not the thick prominent ones) and after dying my hair an overall shade darker than my natural colour I was amazed at how much prettier, and glossier it looked!

The thing with long hair is you can wear it up, off your face, in a ponytail over the shoulder, down etc.. I had super short hair which I can wear but I was frustrated with how limited I was. Now I have long hair again but usually I wear it up and off my face because of my face shape being diamond and the hair around my cheek bones can excentuate this too much which isn't always what I like. My hair is naturally curly though and as it goes, I want it straight all the time. THIS is a real drag with blow drying it out but overall, it's worth it!

I've had my hair chin-length and layered for about a year now. Sometimes I think about growing it out again but as soon as feel the hair getting heavy on the back of my neck I chop it off again. Getting it cut is a bit of a pain because you have to spend money on a decent stylist to keep it feminin and current. But other than that the cut is very low maintenance. I kind of like the fact that not many girls have the same cut as me and it makes me feel more unique. I also like how my hair draws attention to my features which makes me feel more feminin in a strange way.

I've had really long hair for the past few years, but i've always wanted to cut it i was too scared.
bout 3 months ago i got the chop! At first i reretted it cos it felt too short, but now that it has kind of grown out and a bit below my shoulder, i could never be happier!

it's so much easier to style, easier to wash and mantain, and still sexy, but without as much hassles.

You have to remember, HAIR GROWS,...and if you really can't wait, hair extensions are always available!! so i say just experiment!

I want my hair just like this click. First of all, I'm one of those people who only looks good with bangs, no bangs make my eyes look smaller and my face look weird so I always try to wear a few bangs.

I really like the way this model's hair looks including the color. I am thinking of printing off this pic and bringing it to my hairdresser the next time that I go. My coloring is the same as hers other than my hair is currently much lighter so I'll have to come down a few shades. I'll also have to grow it out a lot too. In other words, it's going to take some work and time to get my hair like this.

Please be honest and tell me what you think of it. I'd appreciate it. I'm obviously not 100% sure, so I thought I'd ask the experts.l :flower:

I say if you like it go for it. I think its cute.

I'm fixing up my hair right now and its hell growing it out to the length I want, but I know I'll be happy once I get it the length then cut it the way I want. I'm very picky about haircuts though...last hair cut I did I had it done over 4 times in 3 different salons.

Good luck with your hair. :flower:

it looks kind of simple..i like more layers. it shud b ok without or with the bangs if u do someting interesting with the color

Well, I am living in the country so the style here is simple, even though my personal style is not so simple, when in Rome ....

I also like this one click only lighter, I'm blonde. As I said in my previous post, my hair is quite short right now so I'll have to grow it out. This is a good option while I'm waiting or maybe I should just stick with this length. Which one do you like better?

I had the same (first one) some years ago, but with my own natural haircolor. I like it.

The first one looks really good. Go for it. As for the second, it's not too versatile so you may get bored soon...

I love changing my look too often to be faithful to just short hair or long hair. I always grow out my hair pretty long and then chop it off in cute, little cuts as it gets shorter. My hair grows extremely fast, and I get bored with it easy. However, I won't go no shorter than chin-length. I may get brave one day and chop it real short, though!

I also can't be faithful to one hair color all of the time.... can't have the same 'do for more than 3 months.
