Yay or Nay - Hairstyles and Colours

I like long, I hate cutting my hair. It's currently 7 inches past my shoulder, I should think.

The most popular, the one I see everyday is long-hair in low ponytail.I prefer short hair because it's easier to style and u save lots of time.

I don't really like it. It reminds me of Mischa Barton in Elle (March or April..?).

The cut looks really flat and it would be difficult to put it up or curl it.

Well, I like them both, but would really like to see more razored edges in both to give them more of a piecey look... not too much pieces going on, but just a little more.

The second one is my favorite of the two, though. But, I don't know what you look like so it's hard to say which would better suit your face. I did a cut similar to that the other day on a girl, but raised the back up a little more and added more fringey pieces in the front... cute!

do you wanna stay blonde? i think maybe you should try rich deep chestnut something with more depth. at the moment your hair looks a bit flat. = /
cut-wise your hair looks like it's layered.
i think you'd look cute with some side swept bangs & choppy texturised layers

First of all, what is your hair texture like? Thick, coarse, fine? Is it naturally straight like it is in the picture or do you have to straighten it?

Are you wanting a drastic change or a subtle change? Are you wanting to keep most of your length or are you looking for something shorter?

What do you love most about your hair? What do you dislike about it right now?

Also, what color are your eyes? (so we can figure out what haircolor will work with your tones, etc.)

have you tried a short hair style...say close to your chin...sort of a razer cut? youll have ot maintain it everyday by blowdrying but itll be easier, i presume, than blowdrying you long hair now....also, maybe some lowlights? your hair color is nice, i think youll you even prettier with darker hair

All right, here's my opinion... Despite the fact that you said you want a small change, I have a few suggestions that you could either combine or try seperate for a smaller change...

Go darker. A chestnut, as previously mentioned, would look great. Just a light brown color, and THEN maybe a few highlights.

Go with some side bangs. It looks like maybe you have some, but they're tucked under. Either it's that, or you just have you front stranges behind the ear. I think some side bangs would look excellent with your face shape.
