runner, have you seen the NYC store? it reminds me of the NYC store, kiddy cornered just like that and has the big windows with white trim. of course the interior is completely different. thanks for posting, its neat to see the various stores. The YY concept is so strong.

...had a chance to pick up some y's on super sale; a felted wool single breasted blazer with peak lapel and silver snaps. one of those things you put on and it was a must buy, I dared not question the decision since I had no choice...dont know who was more insistent, the IF staff or softgrey who am I to argue with the pro's? but honestly, it was one of those things, you try on armful's of clothing, nothing looks quite right and then all of sudden there is ONE piece and that is it... it's so obvious it's Truth (and usually something Yohji).

speaking of AMAZING purchases that you put on and your eyes get bigger, you stand up a little straighter ...there is this navy tuxedo y's number that we should see pictures of soon, right softie....?

also, saw some of the pre spring shoes at the yy store. precious little eyelet ballet flats and a strappy gladiator that is so good in a way only yohji can do. i think they were all noir.

the new store is definitely Sophie Hicks' best work so far, that I have seen anyways! I love all of the light and all the subtle textures and shapes within the whiteness.

yes....it fit , i was hoping and praying it would and low and behold, it did. crazy for me to fit a yohji size 1 since i've been know to fit into a size 3 jacket just recently but this is just right. the shoulders lay on the right spot and i can close it with out any pull in the chest so YIPPEE!
