your all time favorite jeans (that you have owned)

1) This horrible pair of Calvin Klein dirty denim jeans : O I thought they were sooooo cool.
2) Still living in a pair of Sass and Bide jeans, faded black Misfit style, very skinny. They feel like a pair of superhero tights !

I have this great pair of black, Diesel jeans. They fit me perfectly. They're skinny, but not horribly skin tight, they've got that great bunching effect in the calves.

1. These Ralph Lauren jeans, so soft and comfy and a great wash.
2. My Evisu's, I love them, the detailing (stitching, picking, wash) is amazing and the color is great...I cant stop wearing them...Also, when I first got them they had lots of random stitching but I found everytime I wash them the parts that are stitched up start to fray (not the tread but the denim) I love that!!

Surprisingly, it's not a pair of designer/remotely expensive jeans.....Miss Selfridge straight legged jeans...... bought them like 5 years ago and I still love them

1. My Cavalli Jeans (lightblue and cavalliesque patterns extreme skinny fit slight flare at the ankle) I bought in my early teens and still fit into till the day someone stole them (this year) :(

2. Gap, three year age wash, skinny streach.. size 2l and 4l (i have a 2 pairs)... they look like slightly baggy straight leg jeans on me and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. They are soo soft too! All my friends hate gap but i find that on tall skinny people their jeans look great if you can get them in long.

-medium-dark blue bootcut jeans by a company called "indigo hand".. simple pockets, bootcut with slight flair, fitted but not tight..look kind of dressy but insanely comfortable
-very dark denim jeans (also bootcut) by jean paul d'amage..denim is sort of lightweight..also simple pockets etc but with great detailing..fit perfectly

sooo...now what>?...

Of course, body type figures into the equation... but the black Levi's I tried on the other day were perfect. :woot: I have to go back this weekend and get them (no money with me, then ).

My favourites are my Bettina Liano and Hudson jeans. Both make me look skinnier :D

Levis straightcut is my first choice. They fit me perfectly! I am still wearing my first Levis jean that I bought 10 years ago..

katayone adeli dark denim hipster bootlegish jeans-- this was about 10 years ago before anything was on the hip. i loved them so much i bought a second pair. i had always hated jeans before then, except for cleaning or moving or something.

i wish she still had her line of clothes :(

kind of related to tangerine's discussion of all time favorite jeans, but my question is this: how do you know a pair of jeans are done, have got to go? what are the signs that it's over? can anyone share from personal experience rather then simply what they'd rather not see on the subay:lol:?
and then emma peel and katelynn, how are you keeping 10 year old jeans going???

^ I would say that holes or rips in the crotch are usually the end of the line for my jeans.

Sometimes though, the fabric just gets so tired, it has no shape, life or color anymore, isn't fun to wear and doesn't look good.

^^ about how long would you say it takes to reach that stage? maybe there are 2 figures? one for raw selvedge (does it last longer?) and one for standard...levis

^ it depends so much on your wear habits, how and how often you wash, the quality of the denim you start with... generalizing won't help much I don't think. I think "regular" Levi's worn a couple of times a week, washed every week or two, last about a year for me. Good quality raw selvedge should last twice that or more, all else being equal, but you probably wouldn't wash them that often under current practice. And it depends so much, do you bicycle in them, skate in them, ride bucking broncs? If you have an office job they might last ten years... sorry I don't know!

Lover by Levi's indigo skinnies that hug every curve...
Yes! They fit like they were made especially for you... By far, my favourite pair of jeans. Thanks Nick! :P
Close second is a toss up between my sass & bide black frayed misfits and my Tsubi charcoal skinnies! I love my jeans.

1. i had a pair of sergio valente jeans when i was 13 or 14 that i thought were the bomb...:ninja:
they were a dark blue wash and had triple purple stitching down the leg and some kind of intricate design on the back pocket...

i also had the guess skinny ankle zip style that softie spoke of...
i had to BEG my mom to get them for me (they were probably around $50, outrageous at that time for jeans, and all my other jeans were levi's)...

2. i have five pairs of earnest sewn jeans and i have to say they fit me better than anything else i've found...
i'm partial to the "decca" straight leg style...

softie...i have a great pair of habitual black skinny jeans i got at barneys...
the lower leg part (below the knee) isn't as tight as most other skinnies, and the stitching is all black...

I don't think I've found the perfect pair for me yet...all of my jeans stretch out and change their fit after awhile...I don't know if my body is changing constantlhy or just that I haven't found great jeans yet...though my Zaras are holding pretty well so far...and they are the cheapest :ninja:

1. A pair of faded light blue Diesel jeans. Straight-leg. Plain and simple. So gorgeous. I've had them for years + I still wear them now.
2. A pair of Calvin Klein grey skinnys. Cute.

Are Levi's "Lover" jeans the skinny ones in that TV ad (with the "walk the line" song?)
