Your Magazine Cover Predictions & Speculations

Prior to Astroworld, I thought Kylie Jenner would 1000% have a US Vogue cover in 2022. She’s become an absolutely huge personality and it would even seem late to give her a cover at this point considering her achievements and when her business really seemed to peak (of course we can debate the merit of those achievements forever, but we obviously can’t dispute that she’s wildly popular). But now, despite the incident not actually having anything to do with her, her close proximity to Travis makes it seems highly unlikely unless she completely distances herself from him (also unlikely since they’re welcoming another baby together) or they’re able to pull off one hell of a positive PR spin later in the year.

Surely Jodie Comer will land US Vogue for the final season of Killing Eve?

Vogue February 2022 Prediction : Chloe Kim

She does seem like the most Vogue-friendly choice if they go with an Olympic athlete, but I don't know if they've ever done a Winter Olympics themed cover. Then again, they seem to be switching things up quite a bit lately!

I am guessing Zoë Kravitz (in Saint Laurent) will be on the March 2022 cover of Vogue US

I hope she gets February or April and Gaga gets March, but that’s all just wishful thinking.

I'd love at least a feature with Olympian freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy. (He fronts Prada's Linea Rossa line and has major advertising looks - snowboarder Julia Marino is also in the F/W campaign)

The problem with going with an Olympic themed cover is the stars could injure themselves out of competition prior to publication date.

US or UK Vogue Predictions:

1. Michaela Coel for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
2. Zoe Kravits for The Batman
3. Natalie Portman for Thor: Love and Thunder
4. Anya Taylor Joy for that David O. Russell project
5. Maggie Gyllenhaal for The Lost Daughter
6. Taylor Swift for 1989 (Taylor’s Version)

Vogue US, UK or Italia:
February - Jennifer Lopez by M&M

Vogue Netherlands:
March/September - Doutzen Kroes

Vogue Netherlands:
March/September - Doutzen Kroes

That would be one of the worst decisions, ever and I highly doubt they would do this. Considering Doutzen is completely lost in lies, conspiracy theories and frankly dangerous behaviour. The only people who still support her over here are those in the anti-corona, far-right movement.

Would be amazing if Elizabeth Olsen finally got the recognition she deserves and scored a Vogue cover for Multiverse of Madness. The movie will be getting a lot of hype prior to its release date and Elizabeth has more than proved herself as an excellent actress.

I would love to see her score the May cover!

One Oscar contender has to get the next Vogue US cover, right?

I guess the favorites for a BA nomination are Olivia Colman, KStew, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Chastain, Gaga, Penélope Cruz, Rachel Zegler and Alana Haim (and maybe Jennifer Hudson?). I would actually love to see Ariana DeBose getting the cover, but I don't know if they would go for a Supporting Actress contender.

Gosh, I'd love to see Penélope or Nicole on the cover of US Vogue again - it's been so long since either of them have appeared there. I love that US Vogue has given us some much fresher and unexpected cover subjects over the last couple of years, it keeps things interesting but it also makes me excited when one of their old faves shows back up from time to time - it's a nice feeling of comfort and nostalgia, instead of "oh god, not her again".

W Magazine should be releasing their “Performances of the Year” issue soon, I used to do look forward to it every year, but their recent offerings have been lackluster, to say the least. Some possible cover subjects I think would be: Jennifer Hudson, Ben Affleck, Emilia Jones, Jared Leto, K-Stew, Andrew Garfield, Adam Driver, Mahershala Ali, Taylor Paige, Dev Patel, Riley Keough, Ruth Negga, Kodi Smit-McPhee…. Kind of hard to predict their choices, though.

Vogue September 2022 Prediction: Julia Roberts

She has a movie coming out in October with George Clooney which she has a production credit on. Roberts rarely does much media but has more of an financial incentive to promote the movie.

Cher had a short piece on Vogue.com to promote her Uggs commercial which briefly got my hopes up for a more expansive feature or a potential cover. But my hopes were dashed - she won't be on screen anytime soon it seems.

Wouldn't a themed issue around Cher be wonderful?

Would not AT ALL be surprised to see Julia Fox (the new girlfriend of Kanye West) on the cover of CR Fashion Book or another one of those indie fashion titles in the very near future.

A Rihanna maternity cover for UK or US Vogue must be on the horizon
