Oh wow!!!! This collection is impeccable. :woot: Classic but so "now" too, not like some of the other "classics" collection out there. Really great cut. It is a completely cohesive collection reminiscent of the 70s and the ever elegant YSL himself yet there are so many variations in shape, colours, proportion, textures. Just look at the variety of pants! Not loud and clashing, quiet yet makes you take a second look. I particularly like the way colour is introduced, just one distinctive piece against neutral variants, like a wash of colour on a black and white picture. It's such an effortless collection but it takes a lot of thought to get there. Love this!

the first part looks kind of valentino-ish... i have yet to see a wide leg that i like and that looks the right lenght and proportion...

cool presentation w/ the screens and all...^_^

simon woods (rome or pride&prejudice) sitting next to catherine deneuve B).... does it get any better than that?

When I worked in a costume collection I was put in charge of organizing and documenting the menswear archives. It was full of of custom made suits donated by people like Harvey Firestone or the Hearst family. We had a bit of YSL menswear in the collection, a supportive designer donated a large chunk of his personal wardrobe. I remember the YSL having such a distinct feeling. These clothes capture it verbatim, it's uncanny. It's exactly what the contemporary YSL man would be wearing. well done

70's Vibe

This collection reminds me of some of the photos from 70's GQ Magazine. I was looking through my collection of fashion magazines last weekend. These clothes remind me of that and what Yves was wearing himself back then. Yet the clothes are done in a modern today way. It's a beautiful collection in my opinion and stuff I like to wear myself. I also love the use of winter white in the collection. You hardley ever see this in mens collections!

Breathtaking! The proportions, the materials of the jackets, some shiny, some matte.

I like that Pilati has an overall rougher (Is that the right word? Rough as in not overstyled or effeminate) vision but pays so much attention to the details, like the lapels on those pastel jackets!

Incredibly sofisticated and elegant, but still young and would suit the most wild rocker.

And I will be needing this collection. Yet another collection that is me! ^_^

The best that the 1970s had to offer, artfully designed. This silhouette is my favorite.
