Zac Efron

I hated him in high school musical (hated that whole movie, actually) but then saw him in Hairspray and thought he was great. It was almost half way through the movie that I even knew it was him (yes, really behind here :ninja:).

I actually liked High School Musical  but for whatever reason, Vanessa Anne Hudgens really pisses the sh*t out of me

I think it's because she looks a tad bit like those popular high school girls who would be really mean

Also because there have been a ton of encounters where many people have said that she was extremely impolite outside of Disney events :ninja:

I definitely feel Vanessa is a bad, bad, bad actress. But whatever, Zac loves her. Good heart, blah blah....

Hairspray and ohnotheydidnt has made me obsessed with this guy. At this point, almost every post mentions him.

Agreed.
But maybe Zac can break out of that shell. I think Hilary Duff did a fairly good job at that. At least they're not as screwed as the Harry Potter kids.

 what do you mean the Harry Potter kids?

They'll never get parts without people thinking, "Oh, the Harry Potter kid."

At least with Hilary Duff, I don't always think, "Remember when I'd come home and watch Lizzie after school?"

^ I see what you mean, but that not necessarily a bad thing- some of Britains greatest actors/tresses have been in HP so I don't think its bad if Rupert Grint for example is remembered as 'Ron', he's actually already proving himself already same with Daniel with his stage role. Also HP is 100000x huger than HSM, and also Hilary Duffs career since Lizzie (although she has money/ signing career etc) is quite embarrassing imo

is this thread for real???

ahhhhh. i don't get it. i feel so old watching interviews with him (and i'm in my early 20's) b/c every other word out of his mouth is "man" or "buddy" or "dude"...and stop touching YOUR HAIRRRR! clearly he irritates me...but to each their own!

Ahahaha. He's simply eye candy :brows: and apparently, he'll be on the cover of Rolling Stones!

Well, he is only 19. I still say "dude" and "man" after everything.

And does he touch his hair a lot? It is quite long. But it adds to the meOW factor.

No way I'm the first homme to comment on him?

Well anyways I hate loving him so much.

Being type casted for the rest of your life is one of the worst things for an actor. So yeah the HP kids are screwed in a sense.

kahlilg- Yeah, I would classify him as a guilty pleasure. ;)

Does anyone else feel that no matter how much they HATE high school musical, as the acting, writing, songs, and pretty much everything else is cheesy and horrible, they find themselves unable to glue themselves from the TV when its on?
