World Premiere Of “New Year’s Eve” On December 5, 2011



Warner Bros. Pictures announced this week that the World Premiere of the upcoming romantic comedy “New Year’s Eve” will be held Monday, December 5, 2011 at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Scheduled to appear at the event are Jessica Biel, Abigail Breslin, Josh Duhamel, Zac Efron, Hector Elizondo, Katherine Heigl, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank, Sofia Vergara, Jake T. Austin, Common, Joey McIntyre, and director Garry Marshall. Other celebrity guests are expected to attend.

Celebrities will begin arriving at 6pm and the screening begins at 7pm.

“New Year’s Eve” opens in theaters on Friday, December 9, 2011, and select theaters have advance showtimes and tickets available. Zac Efron Looks Hotter Than Ever In New “The Lucky One” Trailer

Zac Efron fans are highly anticipating the release of his new film, “The Lucky One.” Efron plays an army man who stumbles upon a photograph of a beautiful woman in battle, which ultimately saves his life.

Zac Efron plays Logan, a war vet looking to find the woman in the picture, and succeeds. Fate brings the two together, but it is not an easy road. Ex-husbands, children, and the ways of the world try to keep the pair apart. “The Lucky One” is a movie adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks book, and will forever be compared to his other films such as, “The Notebook,” “Dear John,” “The Last Song,” and “Message in a Bottle.”

Zac Efron will be added to the list of Sparks characters come to life on the big screen, as others such as Ryan Gosling, Channing Tatum, Liam Hemsworth, and Kevin Costner have before him. Efron’s “The Lucky One” will hit theaters in Spring 2012.

Zac Efron winks at photographers at an advance screening of New Year’s Eve to benefit the Tribeca Film Institute held at the Ziegfeld Theatre on Wednesday (December 7) in New York City.

Earlier in the day, the 24-year-old actor and co-star Michelle Pfeiffer, 53, who also hit the black carpet premiere, stopped by Today to promote the new rom-com.

Zac recently told Access Hollywood he’d love to team up with another one of his co-stars, Lea Michele, on her hit Fox show.

“I’m a huge fan of Glee and a huge fan of her work,” Zac shared. “It looks so fun. I would love to [appear on the show]. Have they had a serial killer yet? It’d be fun to sing about.”
