Zac Efron picks up some lunch to-go on Monday (April 30) in Los Angeles.
The 24-year-old actor is back in town after promoting his movie, The Lucky One, in Europe with co-star Taylor Schilling.
Later this year, Zac will hit the big screen with Nicole Kidman and Matthew McConaughey in The Paperboy.
“Bye bye, Disney,” director Lee Daniels told USA Today about Zac‘s role – a departure from his High School Musical days.
“I have to say that I was nervous in the beginning about working with him,” Lee added, “and I was completely wrong from day one … His timing, his humor, his instinct, is extraordinary.”
FYI: Zac is wearing an Abbot + Main shirt.

Earlier in the day, the 24-year-old actor got swarmed by fans while leaving a studio after taping a German TV show.
“I had actually never seen any of the High School Musical movies. I met Zac for the first time when we tested for the film together. I just knew him as a really capable scene-partner and as an actor who was showing up for me who made me feel very safe to do my work,” Taylor, 27, recently shared.
“As we were shooting it, my friends would send me clips of [Zac] singing,” she added. “But I only knew him as this beefed up actor.”
FYI: Zac wore a George Clinton suit. Taylor pared an Alaia dress from NY Vintage with Neil Lane jewelry and Jimmy Choo heels.

The 24-year-old actor sat courtside near Ashton Kutcher for Game 2 of the NBA Playoff series, which the Lakers won 104-100.
Ashton is reportedly in talks to return to Two and a Half Men for another season and possibly two more.
“But the offers provide no raises from what the stars [Ashton and Jon Cryer] currently make, and that’s shaping up as a big problem for the reps for the actors,” sources tell THR.
Ashton is believed to be earning $700,000 per episode or about $15.4 million for a 22-episode season.
