BEST
- Zoe Saldana - the glittering bodice was exquisite onscreen. I was really impressed by Saldana's style tonight. Very few women would've picked this dress, and fewer would've been able to carry it off. She had the single most avant-garde fashion moment of the night.
- Diane Kruger - wearing THE Chanel dress that so many of us hoped to see worn in awards season
- Amanda Seyfried - such a princess moment. I think the luminous, silvery glow of the gown suited her pale, platinum blonde looks perfectly.
OKAY
- SJP
- Charlize Theron - Don't like the construction or material (it wrinkles easily) of the Dior HC, but the pastry colors were beautiful against her coloring and that dash of red lipstick.
- Jennifer Lopez
- Rachel McAdams - Wish she didn't go for Elie Saab. Her face was beautiful onscreen.
- Elizabeth Banks - a nice dress, but forgetable. Who is she again? And why is she at the Oscars?
- Maggie Gyllenahal - The dress was a little underwhelming for the Oscars. She should've worn it to a movie premiere.
- Cameron Diaz
- Zoe Kravitz - What a beautiful girl.
- Carey Mulligan - I have a feeling that in terms of Carey's style, although we may never agree on her choices, we will always be interested in her choices.
- Julianne Moore - red-head goddess
YAWN
- Penelope Cruz - What happened to her style? She's become a snoozefest on the red carpet!
- Kate Winslet - I don't understand why people try to hype her style into something it's not. Her style has always been boringly mediocre at best.
- Kristen Stewart - The girl was as always, painfully uncomfortable, horrible posture, and clearly was not enjoying herself.
- Anna Kendrick - The blush tones totally washed her out. The shoes were ugly.
- Vera Farmiga - The Marchesa looks like a bad rip-off of Cameron Diaz's fuschia Dior from a few years back.
BAD
- Monique - This is her Oscar moment; it will be photographed to death, screened to millions of tvs, forever grace the pages of magazines, go down in Oscar history, and she chooses to wear a dress that looks like it came from JcPenny's...
- Sandra Bullock - 1) It was Marchesa. You don't pick Marchesa for your Oscar-winning moment. 2) I feel like Sandra Bullock is one of those actresses that people like to overhype stylewise. Like Kate Winslet, she has zero style, clearly not interested in primping up, and looks mediocre at best. 3) The dress was an ugly sheet of pale liquid gold.
- Nicole Richie - Hi Rachel Zoe.
- Mariah Carey
- Miley Cyrus - Obnoxious.
- Demi Moore - the dress looks the same color as her skin.
- Gabourey Sidibe - tacky prom dress.
