83rd Academy Awards #2

Wow first upset for some. I loved The Kings Speech.
actually DGA guesses right 90% of time the best director (DGA award= Oscar). last time they were wrong was in 2001. so, from that point of view, far from weird. actually, apart from the cinematography category, everything's been exactly like in the previous ceremonies this season.:flower:

They might give Social Network it as consolation for Fincher but it's more likely to be Kings Speech having ad screenplay and director. Social Network has got a lot of smaller awards, it's looking good for Kings Speech right now

i really doubt TSN will get Best Picture. :ermm:

You never know...I loved TKS and TSN, but I was really pulling for Fincher to win Best Director and TKS to get Best Picture.
Now I don't know what I want.

And Inception has won 4 Oscars. Alice in Wonderland 2. And Wolfman 1.
This year's Oscars is confusing me all around.

I really think the Kings Speech will win. It's just as deserving as the others.

Some people don't want it to win because it's a ''pretentious british period'' film which is such a lame excuse. The rest of the world has to put up with American period films and we don't complain. People need to get over it.

I want TKS to win because im sick of hearing about TSN

im rooting for Natalie here !
go nat !

ohh jennifer looks so beautiful ...her face looks angelic on screen - way better than on stills

The introductions seem so pointless. I really wish they'd stop making the lead roles more important.

Based on the clips, Annette should win, but Natalie is still brilliant.
And Michelle is so real.

EDIT: YAY NATALIE!

That's Natalie's worst sense in Black Swan. I can't believe they keep on showing it.
