LOL this made me spit out my water. I thought Jennifer was great in SLP but although I haven't seen any of the other nominees I'm sure there was a performance that was better. The look on Emmanuelle Riva screamed "I flew all the way out here for this??"

I think Bradley deserves it. DDL was fine, but it pales on a very big scale in comparison to Phoenix and Cooper.

Jennifer's having the career that Stewart's team set her up to have. 22 years old with an Oscar already, leading the most successful female franchise ever and partaking in another one. Her career is on fire!

i wasn't expecting that at all. naomi too! but to give her credit i do think she's by far the most talented other than little lizzie olsen in age group. i loved her in winter's bone. the fall though....utterly embarrassing but she's very charming and took it in stride.

DDL saying "I didn't expect this" - oh please. He's basically the male Meryl at this point. No other male actors have three Oscars.

While I didn't enjoy The Master I thought Joaquin Phoenix was amazing in it. Would've been a great upset.
