In terms of the musical performances everyone has done so well tonight. Usually it seems like their are a few hit or miss performances but this year has been so good.

i personally understand what crimsonlakes was saying about hudson....it isn't even about being soulful and emotional.....she always sounds so contrived.....try hard. the greats like nina simone(whose song she absolutely destroyed on that horrid weight commercial) used have this way of allowing their emotions to come out naturally. but i digress.

i hate to say,but adele didn't sound that great to me tonight. her voice seemed a bit off....strained??


pretty boring awards for the most part this year. maybe because i wasn't that interested in any of the films. glad eiko ishioka got a memorium.
