I haven't picked up a Vogue in soooo long. Have the copy and descriptions always been so obnoxious?

Anyways, the bag is fine but I'm reminded of Frida's Fall 2008 collection and specifically the Babouska line and Spring 2014 collection - Nouveau collection. The Valentino is nice but missing something that makes it look anything other than a vintage bag on an Etsy site.

I wish him all the success but really, except for the sunglasses, I’m really not interested in his Valentino. I don’t think the gap was important enough for anyone to miss that aesthetic.
I’m out already.

Exactly what outlt store shoppers are looking for
Yeah but you need to wait at least 6 months for these to reach the outlet and being sold at discounted price! No one is willing to pay 3k for these basic cheap designs.
The irony of it all would be to see all the pieces from Pierpaolo Le Noir last collection in the seasonal sale after they completely discarded that collection in favor of the Cruise one from Michele. I think Le Noir lasted in stores 2 weeks or so since it got taken out mid October...

Tbh, from a pure shopping POV and to whomever is fan of Valentino, getting the « Le Noir » collection once it has hit the outlets would be the best deal ever.
I wonder however if they produced a lot of it.

I think that his Valentino appears to be a smash hit...
was speaking last night with a actual buyer of valentino about this curious to know your thoughts based on what it appears to be a smash hit already.

I’m genuinely interested to see if this Valentino will resonate with shoppers or will he have to pivot from this direction. It’s just cute but I don’t feel any emotion for this.

It seems like a lot of money being poured into this project, they will want their return on investment. He will need to be flexible if this does not generate sales

I love those two 🤣

David is not feeling it at all. Either that or David was having a bad day.

The products one by one is really nice that has always been his approach.
The shoes can easily especially the ballets can become their new cash cow.
Go Alessandro!
