Alessandro Michele - Designer, Creative Director of Valentino

the products look poor, definitely a downgrade
yes Valentino is already sweet and bows like and than with his naive touch its all looks so overtly childish .....but thats what you get when all the main head designers acc and some rtw are ex gucci as well their is no refinement of product development that is been part of valentino way of product design for years........ a more refined touch to accc and rtw V had a princes look that was bit sexy and sharper and detailed with simplicity mixed

now its all so childlike wear and clunky chunky valentino now ...like the products need ozempic

Beyond the product, I think the change is actually too drastic. This is not the kind of Stefano to Hedi kind of change where there’s still a familiarity.

I think there was a purity or at least a clarity in the presentation at Valentino that is lost now. The styling is just too messy.

Because yes, Pierpaolo’s clothes sold well. Alessandro is copying the archives but are the clients really able to distance the aesthetic to the clothes. Valentino has always been kind of sexy grown up and traditional.

It's just granny style. I wouldn't surprise if I see it in Ferragamo....

I just cannot keep my eyes off those socks!I was one of the few people who liked the idea of him at Valentino but he is getting worse and worse and totally disappointed us. People who work with him should read the comments here and related threads as I remember some members have given some constructive comments and feedbacks from the very beginning. If it sells, it is fine. Otherwise, just move on. As much as I am getting tired with those Philophiles, I don't know which one is the worse at this moment.
