i see nothing magnificent......
if you remove those make ups and settings
it's nothing but the old MQ gowns that flare up at the bottom sticked with feathers
i find it boring....
you know Dior couture is unwearble but makes me imagine wearing them
but these are unwearble and i will never imagine wearing them.....
MQ's way of unwearability is not my style....the mood is repeated every season

I am so completely overwhelmed, this is so amazing. Probably his best since the historic fw06..

Oh my god, I cannot wait to see this entire collection. Everything is so dramatic, I love it. McQueen is genius in that he appeals to both the fashion and art crowd. His runway presentations are always somewhat like an instillation.

The height of the platforms are incredible also.

all of the coats ive seen so far are wearble...last season looked nothing
like this or the once before..but thats ur opinion and ur entitled to it:innocent:

This is kind of different for McQueen, no? I mean, he's done bold geometric shapes and stripes before, but never this in your face.

I'm actually not sure what to think yet, though there are things I like and I'm so glad he's gotten back in touch with his more twisted side.

No, I disagree
I think if you take away the makeup and the setting with some of these pieces you are left with something actually wearable.
That is the greatness of this.
It looks and acts like a couture show but some of this is very wearable (to me at least). This is tettering on the edge of what is considered wearable and what is considered couture which is what I love so much. And there are definitely more shapes than his usual Victorian era gowns and corsets.
