All About Your Jeans...

I love my True Religions and Salt Works jeans, which are fitted and have the perfect inseam for me. On the "cheaper" side of the spectrum, I have a pair of destroyed A&F Madisons that I can wear with anything. I usually wear my jeans with flats or flip flops.

I grew bored with jeans a few years ago, so I started wearing a lot of black pants. Over the summer I decided to catch back up. At this point I wear jeans about 3 times every two weeks.

Anyway, I picked up some fairly dark blue, straight leg Etros over the Summer. They have a tannish cast. There's also a beige velvet stripe down the leg. I also got a pair of embroidered Roberto Cavallis (not Just Cavalli-- I had some at one point and wasn't entirely satisfied). They're not as loud as one might expect from him, but difficulty arises because they're so distinctive looking. Of course people are going to notice scorpions, cacti and Aztec Gods. I save them for louder outfits where they fit the mood.

Those jeans are fun, but they don't work well for anonomous/day to day wear. I got a pair of Prada with nice blue/black wash (maybe that's not the proper way to describe it), but they're one size bigger than I'd like, so while they fit better than average, it isn't perfect.

A few weeks ago I tried to remedy that with 2 pairs of Jil Sander. One technically isn't a denim jean since it's totally poly coated, but the other is a plain, slim black pair with a 36 inch length. They've been my standby for the last bit, but again, they're slightly loose in the lower leg. Maybe I haven't been running enough!

So, I just bought a pair of thin finn dry Nudies. They should be here by the end of the week. We'll see how that goes.

ive been wearing a pair of raw wranglers that i took all the tags and back pocket stiching off of. im loving them.

i just got a pair of miss sixty snuffles trouser in a different wash than this pic-- kind of a washed raw blue with well displaced distressing and cream/blood red stiching. i bought them one size too smaller than in the pic so they would be fitted in the seat and thigh.. the inseam is 39 inches, which is great for me--- i wear them with sky high heels--no cuffing ince i am 6ft.

I got these Sevens relaxed, I live in them, soo versatile. The SA at Bloomie's said that zipped fly Sevens are bootcut and button fly Sevens are relaxed...It makes fit shopping so much easier!

I just love my quite skinny dark blue levi's 511 slims! Anyone else got a pair?

really low rise 7 or lower, skinny flare or boot cut
30inch inseam.
ae extreme low rise petite is good for flip flops, flats, and sneakers.

joe's provocateur(i wanted to love them but they dont fit me right..its too loose in the thighs and i prefer a skinnier leg in jeans..) has the perfect length for heels.

joe's rocker.. EW again. kristin cavalleri from laguna beach used to wear these..yeah i really dont like it because its way too flared!! very retro.

joe's honey fits really really nice! perfect if you have curves..hips, a .little. cute butt like mine <- ahha, and slimmer legs but the rise is too high, its 7.5 :( !

joe's love socialite(a la lindsay lohan in her good morning america performance of 'over' and 'rumors') i wanted to love it but i didnt. the socialite and the provocateur is the same flare silhouette but love socialite has a lot of cool destroyed designs that are tasteful. again, its too high and too loose in the things. i tried many different sizes but nothing fit perfect all over..

so for jeans to wear with heels. i got to forever 21, i only buy jeans with no designs on the butt from there because its all knock off designs of sevens, true religion and rock & republic..bleh. its usually low, slim, and the shorter jeans they have fit me when i wear it with heels!

jeans i want to love : tsubi and joe's!
i love the denim, the colors and designs on the butt.
tsubis are too long and they dont look right tailored..joe's too high in the waist and loose in the thighs.

Lately I've really been into raw denim. I just got some raw 17cm Diors and I'll probably be wearing them for quite some time. Before my Diors I was wearing APC new standards which I also love.

i live in sevens i love em..they have a snug fit w/out being uncomfortable. plus they make my legs look leaner and longer (im only about 5'3 1/2) how do true religions fit? i was thinking of getting a pair of those...

ps. ebay has got to be the best thing in the world. getting jeans atleast $70 off is the best

Tommy Lee's People's Liberation jeans

I'd like to know what you think of Tommy Lees new jeans with People's liberation. Link ( http://www.headlinefashion.com/) - scroll down a little.

The designs are based on his tatoos. I think they look nice and aren't as outrageous as you may think when you first hear about them.

Right now I can't stop wearing my new True Religion Joeys they're Raw Denim and I LOVE them...Ugh, I get so many compliments on them. They have that twisted seam and they scrunch up bigtime at the bottom, I love the look...Also it makes my *** look killer...

Anyone got any clever ideas on how to make bland one shaded jeans look more "worn out" and grungy? Apart from that good old favourite with cheese grater? That tears the fabric too much, so I end up with random broken strands of fabric all over the place....
u know those scrubbing brushes with a handle and synthetic bristles? that people use for tubs?
i've used that before with my levi's. i just put them on and sit in the bathtub and scrub LOL

haha yea you kind of have to be careful..true religions are tough to find but sevens are pretty good because they generally run cheaper and are easier to find than the other designer jeans.

I'm right now loving raw denim and straighleg jeans. I also love when my jeans are lowrise, but not TOO lowrise were you can see EVERYTHING. Hahaha.

i know i might seem a tad stupid but what is 'raw denim' lots of ppl say it here and im clueless

^ It's unwashed denim, meaning it's it rougher and not as soft as usual denim.

i like the thick waistband of my hudson jeans, and their off white jean with red stitching is one of the most comfortable jeans, together with a long boot cut leg that elongates your legs.

the jeans i have that makes me look really tall,is habitual, actually.
seven jeans tend to flatten my butt, while also making everything else look very svelte.
the best skinny jeans for me are tag+ and grass jeans.
