All About Your Jeans...

i might have to re try those. the last i tried was 2 years ago and it was a saggy butt on me.
i think it works for people who already have a perfect body..

I only wear slimfit jeans now. Drainpipes. I have jeans from brands like Cheap Monday, Dior Homme, Acne, Nudie. Lately I`ve been quite fond of raw jeans. Anyhow my jeans have to bee plain, without too many details. Also I like dark colours (black, grey, dark blue) and white jeans also works.

I like joe's jeans as well,. i find them quite flattering on petites. I like how differnt types/cuts of jeans can create such different looks. Personally, i find only wearing one specific type of jean (ie/ skinny onlny, or bootcut only etc.) kinda boring. especially if it's trendy and everyone on the streets wear the same style of jeans.

I am searching and searching for the perfect jeans..
I think my body sin't right for anything.

Although I did find a pair of True Religion jeans that seemed to fit well, they were too low-rise for my liking..

This is so frustrating!

I have 11 pairs of jeans:

5 Cheapmondays in darkblue, white, skyblue, darkgrey and lightgrey
2 H&M-drainpipes in darkgrey and darkblue
2 pair of darkgrey straightlegs
1 pair of blue/grey-ish Diesel straight-legs
1 pair of ripped, wide sailorpants in lightblue

I wear them with allstar-lookalikes from Cheap Monday, Vans, more dressy, simple sneakers in darkbrown and black and simple plimsolls in black and white. For Winter i wear them with allstar-lookalikes from CM and woolsocks and black or brown ankelboots. I hate the combination of jeans + blazer, i think it very lastyear. I love to wear my drainpipes with mye vintage, motorcycle-inspired jacket or my leatherjacket, allstars and more formal and classy acessories, like a goldbelt, pearls, more simple leathergloves, silkscarfs, and so. I love my denim<3

if you want a pair of jeans that are of good quality, i recommend 45rpm if you can afford it (or rather, if your mom is willing to pay for it); i also like apc jeans and they are more reasonably priced. the best thing is find what fits you best andwhat looks best on you without looking at the brand.

The best fit I've seen on women are diesels, but that's from a males viewing prospective

my favorite pair of jeans right now are dark straight leg jeans by Serfontaine (style Avatar, color Flex) http://www.couturecandy.com/serfontaine/avatar-in-flex/product.html
I got them for 14 bucks on sale at Filene's Basement- and they are the most comfortable pants I own!

Trying to decide whether to return another pair by Serfontaine that I got.. they are the style "low pro" and they fit but are tight and uncomfortable around the waistband (since they are low rise they hit at my hips..)..I have a hard time being objective when deciding if pants fit or not.. I could button and zip them and everything, so maybe I should keep them? I hope they'll stretch out?

My favorate type of jeans are straight legs. My favorate brand right now are Antik Denim. I love just about every type of jean, buy I love distressed jeans.

For the past five years i've been a Seven girl but my last pair wore away too fast...hole in in the inner thigh?? ...i was quite disappointed.
For the first time i'm venturing beyond Seven and even considering other brands. :(

Premium Denim

I couldnt find a thread about jeans in general on here. So I decided to start one.:D
How many jeans do you think make a good denim wordrobe?
Do you ever have duplicates of the same wash color?
Online Discount Codes?
What Are Your Favorites fit,washes,brand,etc?

Does Anyone own Rock&Republic Henleys
How do they fit in the waist compared to True Religion
Should I get the Kerosene or Codeine wash?

i absolutely love jeans! ::heart:: my favorites are:

Citizens of Humanity - 2 pairs
True Religion Joeys - 2 pairs (one for heels, one for flats)
Paige Premium Denim Laurel Canyon - makes me look really slim & sexy
Blue Cult - fit is same as Paige but I wear these with flats
Zara Woman - amazingly, this stretch pair I bought in Zara holds up so well &
is very flattering in the leg - bootcut style. great color too!
Lucky Dream jeans - the color is dark and the cut is just amazing, flatters my
behind

i have some others too like Bettina Liano, Diesel, Lucky Sweet and Low, Sass and Bide (2 pairs), Mango and Joe's Jeans. my Joe's Jeans though...they're in the Rocker style but they stretched out in the butt and thigh area which was so weird cause i already sized down. i noticed they're a bit too flared. i don't use them as often as i would like. :(

I have a pair of Target skinnies that fit amazingly on me, for like 23 freaking dollars...haha. I LOVE THEM.

My denim collection is much more condensed than what it once was - (10 pairs), now down to 4:

H&M Sliq - really dark blue (looks black), raw, straight cut
APC Straight - dark blue, raw, also straight cut
Nobody - dark grey, tapered cut
Diesel Zathan 772 - faded blue, distressed, boot cut

i'm still looking for the perfect pair of jeans. they may not exist for me anymore. i used to have a pair of levi's 501's that i had from about 10th grade to graduate school. as i filled out, it broke in and became perfectly shaped to me.

nowadays, alas, it's a jeans wardrobe. mostly, all of these represent an attempt to find the perfect pair.
. Paige Laurel Canyon -- acquired in a weekend-long attempt to try on every kind of designer jeans available (i was late boarding that particular train) for a going-out pair.
. Levi's slouch -- thrifted. good for the weekends.
. Seven FAM -- thrifted. two sizes too big for me, but relaxed in a good way.
. Silence & Noise straight leg -- an Urban Outfitters brand. the skinniest legs on any pair that I have. it's a flattering cut, but i don't wear them that often because the back pockets are kinda odd.
. APC New Standards -- a project that i can't seem to bring myself to suffer through. the initial break-in is daunting.
. Calvin Klein flared trousers -- nasty. it was cute before the hems got dragged through every mud puddle in seattle.
. Earl jeans -- tight tight tight. good for heels and cocktails. but i don't often wear heels, and i don't often drink cocktails.
. American Rag -- thrifted. nice in a grease monkey kind of look.
. Gap 1969 Western -- my oversized boyfriend jeans. nothing that great about them, but they're versatile and can be a backdrop to any top i've got.

it's so fun to avoid work on TFS!
