I kinda liked this show. Seems more suited for LFW though. The negatives for me were in the fit of some of the garments and the asymmetrical hems - too 90's. Like someone said too I did see bits of Julian McDonald but I also saw some Schwab. I think this collection though will be a hit with fashion editors of fashionart and indie mags.

but this guy is really obsessed with tom ford , his fall collection was badly stiched version of TF"S Gucci Fall 2003 blade runner collection , this looked more like Gucci of the mid 90s. The skirts are very stiff and badly stitched like some DIY project .

I like the direction that the collection was going. But in some pieces it was executed as well. What I liked was that there were lots of clean cuts/lines, I'm a no frills and fluff kind of person. I also liked the touch of bright colour here and there and the snakeskin geometric patterns. What I found a bit distracting was that some dresses looked like they had random chunks hacked off, or like they ran off of material or something.

Not a great collection after all...
Loved the asymmetrical cuts of the skirts and the jackets,and also the snake print details on it but I terribly hate the cones a la "Jean Paul Gaultier & Madonna" period,they're just unnecessary and don't add anything to the looks
I think he also overused those snake prints in some of the gowns,but yeah at least it's not just another sportwear inspired collection

What a let down!
I had huge expectations, after his amazin F/W collection. But this is really bad. The First part looks really cheap and amateurish. Strange shapes and cuts, cheap looking fabrics and I also didn't get the point of those small coned breasts.
But I've to admit that the second part ( the darkest one) was much better. It wasn't extraordinary but definetly more decent. I liked the smoking on Vanessa Traina as well as the short dresses with the shinny stripes and snakeskin prints look better with darker tones.
What disappoint me the most are the shoes, usually his shoes are amazing but those were a bit blah! Overall I think this collection doesn't look much like Joseph. It's almost as if the desire too create a super edgy/trendy collection overpowered him.

The silhouettes and the fit of the clothes look really nice here - it's just too bad that the whole mixed materials they used look kind of gaudy when put together. However I have a feeling that this might grow on me, who knows.

I totally agree, but the small cones really make the design - if they were bigger, they would look bad. This renders the design somewhat ridiculous as all people who don't look like the models won't fit the dresses properly.
I can't imagine the castrophes these dresses have the potential of causing

...But ignoring these facts, this is actually the first collection of NYC that has made me look up - it's the most experimental and exciting, but modern, incorporating the minimalist trend and without being boring at all.
I love the white with the snakeskin, with the white jacket and the snakeskin bra, the white jacket and the snakeskin jet pockets - love.
The tribal graphics and the cones - I love.
Great collection.
