@kobro22: I don't know how much she gives to charity, because they don't really divulged everything. I'm sure there's a lot of donations that the media doesn't find out about.

she must really sell if they pay her that much! i had no idea its almost as much as she earn for a big movie. i know she has lot of money and it doesnt annoy me she gives a lot to charity. i wish i was on her charity list lol

From whatever endorsement deal she makes, they usually benefit her choice of charities.

Her jewelry line has gotten some recognition, Robert Downey Jr's wife Susan wore Angie's line at the Academy awards. I believe they're also conflict free.

but the problem is, considering the jewelry line is so expensive, will it really make a lot of money to donate to charity? probably not. seems a bit of a shell game to me. I have a feeling she sells or she wouldn't get offered so much to do these campaigns.

But I remember Brad once said that Angelina is the only person he knows who actually earns money, so that she can give it to charities.

She says that a lot but doesn't really follow through (espcially with projects she has in-development right now). I think Angelina is more of a one project a year type of person as an actress. It helps her also focus on her humanitarian work and be with her family.

There's always different sources of providing donations to charities. Being a jewelry designer is not Angie's first time because she did do a collaboration with Brad for Asprey. I'm just curious about why you feel like it's a negative thing she's done orther than it's a private collection?

i once read somewhere that when it comes to her income, she spends 1/3, saves 1/3 and donates 1/3. can't remember the source.

You are all right, she has been saying this for years, I don't believe it, maybe she slows it down a bit, but quitting? No.
Well,she's Hollywood's highest paid actress, so she doesen't have to do many movies in general, plus she and Brad never work at the same time, so beacause of their work schedule she can't plan that much for the future.

An excerpt from a recent interview regarding her future acting:
SMM: What does the future hold for you? Will you carry on acting?
AJ: I think I’ll work strongly in the next few years. I’ll do the projects I love the most, the films that are important to me. I will only do a film every once in a while that matters. I don’t know what the future has in store and what my children are going to demand of me as they get older, but I’m going to focus on the next few years, and so is Brad. And then we’re going to spend a lot of time just travelling and working on other things together, and the children.

She also said that she loved the experience of writing and directing a movie and wants to direct more movies. Her movie is rumored to be phenomenal at Sony, the reason she has signed with an agency as a writer/director, so I can definitely see that coming.
