AnOther Magazine F/W 2004.05 : Natalie Portman by Craig McDean

I had just finished reading (visually) the 7th issue of AM. It felt like the weakest issue of them all. There weren't really a theme in all this and the photographers that they have hired have made the magazine look like a typical fashion magazine. Not the AM that used to be out. The only "ok" thing I saw in there was mario sorrenti's work. At least I felt the content was interesting. Nick's stuff I felt was a little weak to be an editorial. To be honest I felt those pictures looked good on the monitor, but on the page... Sorry Nick. What do you guys think? Comments needed...

Amelie: thanks for posting those pictures. Anyways please buy a copy and critique. Looking at these pictures together actually makes it look interesting, but as a whole... I actually think the latest Oct. issue of STUDIOVOICE (jap. magazine) with Kate Moss the the subject is far more interesting. Oh yah any of you have any new work by mert/marcus to post?

bee: yes Borders do carry this title, but the quantity varies from place to place. Tower might have it as well.

I just assumed this would be bad after spring's crapfest issue. But actually the eds posted here look pretty wonderful. Better than POP that's for damn sure.

Please go check the magazine out before commenting... I do agree with metal-on-metal though. POP and 10 all of a sudden became an advertiser's heaven. Unlike the past. May I use the term "crap".
