The "Ring" bag is part of the pre-fall collection.

Balenciaga added a capsule collection of its greatest hits in leather and suede for pre-fall selling.

I have mixed feeling about this collection . Some things I love, some....
I love Ghesquière summer collection so much that perhaps I was expecting too much.

that ring bag has the same bits on it holding the strap on that the jimmy choo theola bags have (the ramona and a couple others). Thats odd.

why the hell didn't they present this instead of the crap that was shown on the catwalk? i think that the buyers/customers would like to see the 'real' clothing that will actually be available for purchase in stores for a change.

I am looking at this and it's SO jaw droopingly perfect..... this guy is hitting the jackpot AND making great designs.....

the fabrics all look so LUXURIOUS and are so precisely chosen for piece
.... Right on for each of them..! The sky high platforms are pure perfection to balance out the minis and black tights.....

I love the shoes too I hear everyone talking about how unwearable it is, but most things from other seasons couldnt be worn either, but I like the fact that even though something cant be worn, the artistic aesthetic that is put into it is very interesting. Thats y i love fashion!

the fabrics are great...the shoes, in theory, are great, but not at all sellable.... and that's the most i can say about this . there are a few nice pieces here and there, and i like the tube dresses in the end, but no one wants those hideous poufs. for instance, would you seriously wear this top: http://www.balenciaga.com/aw2006/20d.jpg or this dress: http://www.balenciaga.com/aw2006/19.jpg as-is?? the first one would be amazing as a cropped jacket/top, and the second would be great without the pouf, as a sleek sheath, but the volume at the waist on both would be extremely unflattering on someone with a 'real' body type. why can't nicolas just show us the clothes as they will appear in the stores? that would be a far more accurate representation of balenciaga for the season. wouldn't you agree?

^ yes and no, i was pleased that the three collections before this one were extremely wearable. but then it's also expected that nicolas will do something kooky...i'd miss the theatrical pieces..

..and i bet you they will actually produce the platforms..but will they lower the height, they'd be fools not to..the shoes would be fantastic with less bulk.
