Bangs - Styling, Side Bangs, Fringes etc.

I usually cut them myself because the hair stylists never do it right. I like the sides to be longer and they always try to cut them straight across from ear to ear - uhg!

What are your bangs like, m'dear?

they're a bit like yours, a little shorter in the middle with longer side pieces. but my hair is supersuper straight and thick so they have more of an 'irina bang' look. i'm growing my hair out right now so i think i'll be a lot happier with it once the length grows a bit. the longer my hair gets, the more i can do with texture.

Okay, so I'm thinking of getting bangs too... But I'm not too sure about what kind.. thick and graphic, to the side, above or below the eyebrow?

JoyNips, I think you would look gorgeous with brown hair. It would really bring out your eyes. try something natural, like an auburn/brown as apposed to a darker brown.

I want to grow the rest of my hair long as well. I want it to be sort of wavy and then keep my bangs the same with the wisps on the sides.

i'm growing out my short bangs to be longer, swept to the side, and hanging in my eyes. should go with the layers i cut into them the other week.

i've always envied every other girl with shaggy bangs(like those that cover the forehead entirely) ..in this forum esp! from where i am...singapore, there's not many girls on the streets spotting this look, or rather rocking it...

there's this mysterious dark beauty, cant-be-bothered with looks but still looking so hot thing going on there...

after prowling on this thread for hours now...i really wish you girls can help me out too!!

Now my hair was getting longer and I was losing my bangs, so in a fit- I cut my own bangs. At first I thought OMG What did I DO? But within 3 weeks they had grown over my eyes - and I trimmed them again just like that on Post # 528 (fourth pic). They grow quite fast I'm noticing so eventually I can have that look as picture 5 on the same post I referrenced.

My face is round/diamond shaped, but it fits very well. And I'm getting noticed more by guys as well...

Hey guys i read this thread cause i was planning on cutting bangs and i did and i love them! But theres just one problem. do any of you find that it gets really oily after one day?

^Yeah, I have that problem too even though my hair tends to get pretty dry. I just wash every day. It's also annoying that I am doomed to morning showers as long as I have bangs because they stick straight up after sleeping...so no more sleeping in for me...

When they get oily, sprinkle a bit of baby powder on them and brush it in. Trust me it works!!
