Bermuda Shorts

Being the ever so stylish girl that I am ( ) I recently bought a lovely pair of black bermuda shorts. Anyway I think they are tres cute but was looking for runway photos so I could get some inspiration of how to dress them up. I thought black heels (or bright heels) would be fine with a chiffon top a la Chloe however I'm worried about the cotton fabric of shorts taking away from that. Anyway the point is I'm just looking for runway photos/collections, editorial photos, or your own personal thoughts so if anyway can steer me in the direction of a show to look at I would appreciate it! Thanks!

I wear a pair of denim boys' carpenter shorts with that general shape, and I find that very clingy, simple tops look best, especially solid color spaghetti-strap tanks.

haha I didn't know bermuda shorts could be kinky...I would post the pic from the site but they aren't on a model and thus don't give you a good idea. Bermuda shorts hit just above the knee however are more slim-fitting than board shorts. Here is a pic from Chloe s/s '04 to give you an idea of what they look like:

I wore my bermuda shorts today! The weather was kind of chilly but I did it anyway. I went for a military chic sort of look. I tucked in a olive green military style shirt (oddly made by Billabong) into my black bermuda shorts, threw on a woven black belt, wore black flats and had a black clutch. It worked

The only kind of shorts I wear! I find short-shorts to be tasteless and sl*tty. They show enough skin and you don't have to be incredibly hot all summer long. B) And also, they won't bunch up around the crotch.

The best pair I've bought were from Express: very soft fabric.

I've honestly never really liked Bermuda shorts. Don't hate them; just don't like them much. I like capris and cropped pants/trousers more than Bermuda shorts. These are more like capris... only not quite capris. There have been some Bermuda shorts I've liked. But for the most part, I'm not as head-over-heels about these, especially not slim Bermudas.
