Shorts

In NYC, shorts are always in. No one is wearing mini skirts, unless your from jersey! lol no offense jersey!

I didnt relize it till now, but I haven't put on a mini skirt all summer. shorts and dresses...no time for minis!

i wear my denim mini that i got 2 years ago when i lounge at home or go to the store.. but shorts when i wanna go out with style ;)

Does anyone have advice on wearing shorts with leggings without looking like a trendoid?

I love shorts, I started wearing them before they went on fashion here in Italy, last summer I was like the only italian girl wearing them in the city and I'm kinda happy they are on style now 'cuz people were looking at me like I was wearing something sooo strange for the city :D

I love my shorts!! I have two short cheap-o pairs that I bought to "try out" in real life (JCrew and Forever 21), which I actually love, and a pair of Gap bermudas in camel, which are nice but stretch out a TON. I love how they look with summer blouses and tanks.

I've worn them so much more often than my denim skirts, etc. (but not as much as my summer dresses).

I'd imagine shorts would look good with black tights, not the cut-off kind. With ballet flats or mary janes?

i wore shorts today...^_^...

i also wore shorts yesterday...

:innocent:....

i love the look of shorts, but being kind of short myself-5'4", i'm not sure how to really pull off the look without having to seem shorter, or my legs being more stubby and short.
any shorts suggestions for short, stubby, muscular-i hate that word, it sounds so manly-legs?

softgrey, same here... the day before..
and most likely tomorrow too! haha

Johnson shorts are really nice. But really expensive too. :P

I had something similar made and it cost me $6.

I had them made. :) Fabric and labor are really inexpensive here in the Philippines. :)

niceee.. dunno why i never thought of that! :woot: i think making it anywhere will be cheaper than a pair of johnsons!
so do you just bring in a pair and ask them to make one exactly the same?

I had a pair made here by someone who copied Johnson's shorts. It cost me P750 or $12. Then I bought fabric (really cheap here) and had that copied. ;)

I bought a cute pair of bermuda (on the verge of city) shorts from Marshall's for $14.99. They are coffee colored and I wore them with a white linen shirt and a vintage snakeskin belt my grandmother bought for me in South Africa.....I was cute. :)
