Sobriquet, it seems like it, leaking a pic would not seem consistant with her whole pr strategy. It must suck to know the person who betrayed you in such a cruel way. But yeah really stupid to send them in the first place.

What is weird is that she took them OF HERSELF; that is what I mean by narcissism. Who stands in front of the mirror and takes nude photos of herself? She is an attention seeker, no doubt about it.

It is different if someone poses for nude photos to make money because of poverty; it would be equivalent to being a stripper in the past or something.

But these photos look recent, so she was already successful and she is from a successful supposedly quite supportive family. So, WTF?

A lot of people take pics of themself, so they can send to someone else (like a boyfriend or prospective boyfriend).
Happens all the time.

But Blake Lively's PR team is clearly pulling out all the stops. A few months ago, Blake was still a TV actress with a couple of films coming out.
Now, she's dating an A-list actor, is a face of Chanel, and is about to have a nude pic scandal to top it all off.
I'm impressed.

I'm SO disappointed!! Im not mad that she took nude pictures (cos a lot of ppl do) - Im just really disappointed that her and her team are most likely the ones who leaked them.
It looks too much like her to claim that its a fake.

I dont understand why though. This Leo & Blake hype is enough publicity. a nude picture was not necessary AT ALL.

all the bloggers are going to have a field day - espcially those on ontd. I cant even defend her on this one. SMH!!!!!

If her relationship with Leo is real - this will most likely end it.

I don't think this is her at all, her PR definitely but not Blake herself. From the interviews I've read and seen, she seems like such a sweet girl. Plus she has the entertainment background, she must know what nude pictures can do for a career... Make or break them. Is that a risk she's willing to take?

On another note - I feel pathetic having read through all 26 pages of this thread.

omg you leave the virtual world for a few hours...and everything turns upside down. holy to the hellll-o!!!! i can't even find the words. i don't think her people leaked them...to be honest, from a girl's point of view...that kind of exposure could never be a self-esteem booster. you would have to be pretty sick and twisted to leak your own photos like that. the timing is all too ridiculous though, isn't it??!?! maybe it was an-exboyfriend/lover/psycho

somebody mentioned this already...and i have to ask again...why doesn't she look happier in the pics with leo?!? she is so subdued. once again, i'm so jeeaallllzzz of celebs and their fast-paced lifestyles. even when they have it all, they pout and sulk while spending time with the most exciting ppl in showbiz in the most beautiful places on earth. like, wake up and smell the roses, buddddy!

Honestly, if I had that body, I would hang those photos in my house. But these photos do tell us three things:

1. they are so fake. (not the pics, btw, ahem)
2. she is not as square she acts.
3. she may have been dumb enough to do a sex tape.

I will never understand what possesses a person to stand in front of the mirror and take pictures of themselves with a phone after you've heard about the countless leaks. How stupid are you?
