Simple clothes (no lines, no patterns, no fancy cuts) in shocking colors. There was at least one dress that was very simple in an extremely bright color at almost every show. It was most prevalent at Prada.

1. futuristic minimalism
2. unexpected color combinations
3. and late 1970s looks
 
I think that thigh-highs and tights will make it through spring. I think that more floral and lace patterns are the way of interpreting the trend in spring. I think that the ankle socks & knee-highs might have only been a winter trend and a passing fad. but we will see...

100% agree that we will see lots of stripes this spring. As well as Prada and Versace, we have also seen stripes in Jil Sanders show and Jack and Jil have done a great striped hat. Also Bambi was wearing stripes all through New York Fashion Week. Very excited to see the coco chanel inspired, nautical stripes come back in!
