Celine S/S 10 Paris

She quite exlicity said it herself..This is just the beginning and she's taking it easy. All the answers to people's questions are to be found in the interviews floating around.

thanks for the video. this is quite an extraordinary collection. the shoes really tie in well with the top half, even though they look weighty. must be the naturalness of the wood and the colors that work so well together. what a great use of leather, perfect ply for what she did with it.

This collection is absolute perfection! The nude and the leather is flawless.
So excited about this!

I loved everything on the runway. Oh my, the shoes, need them! I wasn't really a fan of her work at Chloe, it was way too cutesy for my liking. In my opinion, this is so much better.

Such an incredible collection.
I just watched the video on the new Celine site and I'd wear most/all of the pieces - they are so good. Phoebe Phillo got a semi-standing ovation at the end. So good.

I work for them as their fitmodel and as far as I know, they've just hired few interns...

^^ :o lucky you!
so you are the one to give karma and send messages the days before the show to get a scoop of what the next collection will be like, right? ;)

I'm STILL in love with this collection, I would love Victoria Beckham to wear a few of these looks!

It was alright. I was never really that impressed with it. The bags are what caught my eye. Her next collection is what sold me.

^^
Yes it was really alright at the time. I bought a piece with stripes from this collection and a lot more things from he first one (resort 2010) but at the time, it felt too derivative of Stefano's Saint Laurent for my taste. To be honest i (have always) loved Celine pre-collections but the runway shows weren't that strong for me.

The F/W 2011 was the first time a runway collection from her impressed me.

It's so weird to believe that Phoebe at Celine is the first time in my life where i had the opportunity to really experience a major iconic and influencial era of a designer at a fashion house from the beginning to the end. It's very emotional...
