This is the old Chanel I adore!!! I can do without those denim skirts that are ripped and those pieces with the holes and all, but the rest is absolutely gorgeous! I love the shoes and the set is amazing!

I think that is one of the best Chanel collections ever. The set is beyond as well.
No wonder Heir Karl looks so smug.

The menswear should be much more Boy Capel, after all that is what the entire Chanel concept was based on. Jacket sans col is not enough, sorry. Too effeminate.

I can see all those older patrons taking out their sheers and SLASHING those old tweed ensembles! So fresh, so now!

By the way, I see those "uber-talented" Olsen twins front and center. I wonder how they get their genius ideas....

Well, I'm not that thrilled... I like most of the dresses but that's all, nothing really exciting, and I'm a Karl fan. The setting, however, is stunning.

the ringlet and transparent pieces are hideous, but overall this is an amazing collection, and i never was a chanel fan.

i don't know how i feel about the menswear though, it looks quite stiff.

I'm very impressed- Very classic Chanel... I guess the days of denim everything and street walker boots have passed (for now...) I'm looking forward to detail photos and HQs- seems like there is always an entire other dimension to Chanel that long shot runway pics never show!

well first of all i looove the runway. and i guess anything would've been better than that tacky monstruosity of a giant jacket he had in the last collection

second, i LOVE the shoes. cant wait to put my hands on the black/white ones....

i really dislike some pieces but overall i really like it. and most important, no sign of the hideous ss collection! great job karl

i find this to be incredibly boring and rehashed, even for Karl. i thought the pre-fall collection was fantastic.. young and cool yet undoubtedly Chanel.. i was hoping he'd take this as another stride in that direction. i guess he didn't, or i'm just not getting it.

I'm loving how the modern looking dresses, they're adorable. I hate the long tweeds skirts and the deconstructed suit but besides that, I really like this.
