Some of the pieces are really incredible, especially the embroidered evening looks. It all looks so simple, almost unflattering so. But somehow I feel this looks better live than on pictures... so it is made to wear.

I KNOW!!! there were a few shower curtains in this show.

And a lot of the pieces don't seem to fit the models well either...very rigid looking.

The pants with the snaps, which I think were a majority or all of the pants, are not attractive.

But some of the pieces are divine.

The beginning is mostly very ugly, but as the collection approaches the end, it blossoms and becomes soft, delicate and feminine. I love it!

So far it look just like a very typical Chanel collection and doesn't strike me. Will wait for the video, I'm actually seeing some charming pieces already.

Like someone mentioned, it seems more like RTW than couture. Not big on any of the shiny elements.. some nice dresses, but the jackets are a bit of a bore.. I guess Chanel is just not my thing. Still in love with Karl's Fall 2009/10 collection though

I agree. I don't hate it, but it's lacking something. It looked better in the preview video.
