Charlotte Casiraghi

^ I haven't read her book so i can't judge her work ..
If she wants to write a book then cool.. she is an educated/ well spoken woman and has written the book not alone but with her former teacher. I don't see a problem.
I guess some people don't take her seriously because she is pretty and comes from a rich/famous family.

^Hi liaa, yes, I think the problem of people not taking her seriously is two fold. on one hand, yes, the fact that she's rich and famous, and all that, and then there's the fact that she "only" has a License of philosophy. I strongly feel that both of these premises are fallacies because:

a) A License, or three-year degree in philosophy is really impressive in my opinion. I have studied philosophy, but only informally, on my own time, because I enjoy it. I think if I were being graded on my interpretations and my rebuttals and such things, I would have a very hard time with it. Plus, Charlotte has more than her degree: she has EXPERIENCE. She has YEARS of reading, talking, engaging in the field. That counts for something too.

b) As you pointed out, the book is written by a teacher and student, and there's nothing pretentious about Charlotte when it comes to interacting with Robert. She regards him and respects him as teacher. She's not trying to outdo him. She's engaging and learning from, and learning WITH, him.

OK, now changing the topic back to pictures: Is this new? Do you know about it? I'm assuming it's a photo of her arriving for a fashion show? https://www.pinterest.com/pin/704039354221265326/

Thank you Chewsteraghi. Charlotte never had to go through an ugly phase, she was born pretty. Lucky girl.

Sometimes I'm nostalgic for the innocent days. Her innocence reflecting my own of course. And the little things, the marks of uniqueness, like the gap in her front teeth, are gone now. But that's life. We grow out of this or that, we correct this or that, we tweak and alter. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose? Perhaps!

She looks the same to me, she's just an older version of herself now..
Too bad her style is not really interesting.

The circus of Monaco is a big deal in the family, though admittedly, after about 2001, Charlotte's attendance has been sporadic rather than annual. It was a very special event for her grandfather, who was seen sometimes with tears in his eyes at the event, and he passed that passion for it, particularly the elephants, to Stephanie and thence to Pauline. Pauline founded the "New Generation" competition that is connected with the event. Stephanie rescued two ex-circus elephants and keeps them at the estate outside of Monaco that belongs to the family, Roc Agel. I believe Stephanie has been living almost constantly at Roc Age for some years now in order to care for the elephants. I love this family and never tire of the history and culture of Monaco. If interested, here are some books I particularly like. The only ones I haven't read is the new one in French about Prince Albert because it's only for pre-order at the moment: https://www.pinterest.com/anotherroyalafi/monaco-books/
