Flirting madly...will Prince Harry and Chelsy try again?

Their royal romance foundered in a blaze of publicity eight months ago.
But close friends of Prince Harry and his former girlfriend Chelsy Davy revealed yesterday that they have been 'flirting madly' with each other.
The pair have been exchanging intimate messages on the social networking site Facebook and have met in secret to discuss their future.

Romance rekindled: Chelsy Davy and Prince Harry have been in regular contact since their split in January

Royal sources said that the young couple were still attracted to each other and had been in regular contact since they split up in January.
But they are painfully aware that the circumstances which forced their break-up have not changed, and would be just as likely to cause difficulties in any future relationship.
Harry, 24, is about to start the advanced stage of his pilot training with the Army Air Corps. Miss Davy, meanwhile, is due to start work with City legal firm Allen & Overy later this month.
Zimbabwean-born Miss Davy, 23, was said to resent the commitment of the prince's Army career, and the pressures of being in the royal spotlight.

Last night a source told the Daily Mail: 'They have been flirting madly on Facebook and they have continued to meet up, but they've always held a torch for each other.
'They didn't split up because they weren't in love, it was circumstances which drove them apart, and those circumstances haven't changed.'
The pair are expected to meet up again next week, when Harry celebrates his 25th birthday.
And there is speculation that their meetings could become more regular when the prince transfers from RAF Shawbury in Shropshire to the Army Air Corps base at Middle Wallop in Hampshire, less than an hour's drive from London.

I really don't get the daily mail. If you google Chelsy and go to the news section they have an article saying she's moved on to a new man and then another saying they are back on. I think Chelsy's, sadly moved on. I think the press misses her to some extent, she's different and fun.

^Yeah yesterday they had an article saying they are back together...now it's just flirting. I agree, I think it's probably over...even The Telegraph said she's so busy with her law career right now to even breathe and have a social life.

^Me too. But I have so much respect for her, that she is able to say that it's over and walk away.

Maybe Not Over Yet?

I haven't seen these! SO maybe there is hope. maybe?

Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy are shown outside of Raffles nightclub in London last night, 9/13/09.

I think the daily mail messing a legit story up. They play the whole break up make up thing constantly so that no one believes them. Perhaps they are friends still and she has moved on or they tried dating others and realized they weren't ready and they are making up. Whatever it is my hope is that are back together.

I don't know but I find it interesting that neither Wills or Harry can ever really leave their first loves, they seem to take after P Charles in that way. He always came back to his first love and somehow I find that odd, but hey if you get it right the first time why not?

I think it's also a trust issue, the princes probably trust these girls more because they've known them for a long time and are comfortable with their place in the relationship. To me, Chelsy seems more real because she doesn't care about the titles, money, paparazzi, etc. She is a free spirit, something they need again in the RF. I'm just afraid she won't want to adjust.

Good point and I agree. But trust isn't enough. I mean how will they ever know if that person is the right person? (don't get me wrong I adore Chelsy and I think Harry will have her back and she would make one hell of a Princess)I just find it sad. If it's trust then keep them as friends but commit yourself to a relationship that might not be the best just is sad to me.

I think Wills knows the thing with Kate is done but I don't think he'll leave her, but Harry I thought would date around more.

Off, on and now on to Africa... Prince Harry plans a post-Christmas break with Chelsy Davy

By Katie Nicholl
Last updated at 10:00 PM on 03rd October 2009Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy are planning a post-Christmas break to South Africa.
Friends say Harry hopes the holiday will get their on-off relationship fully back on track.

‘Harry will have a break from the Army over Christmas and is planning a trip with Chelsy,’ said a chum.

Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy have rekindled their romance and are planning a break together

‘He doesn’t have to be back at work until January 4 and is desperate to go on a romantic break. He’s convinced some time away in the sun is what their relationship needs.
‘He loves Botswana but they haven’t decided where they are going yet. Chelsy will definitely go home to Cape Town for Christmas.’

The pair have been enjoying secret dates at Clarence House since getting back together.

Harry can’t go back on the warpath until 2013

Prince Harry has been told he is unlikely to return to a war zone until at least 2013 – in spite of his wish to get back to the front line.
He has been informed by senior officers at the Army Air Corps that his intensive training schedule will make going into action impossible.

The Prince is learning to fly military helicopters at RAF Shawbury in Shropshire, where he shares a house with brother Prince William.

At present, Harry, 25, is working hard to pass exams this month. In two weeks’ time, he is due to move to the Army Air Corps base at Middle Wallop in Hampshire, where he will remain until next summer when he is scheduled to start training in either an Apache or a Lynx helicopter.

Only once he has completed the course will he join the Army Air Corps as a fully fledged pilot.
An Army mole said: ‘Harry has been told that he won’t be going back to the front line as quickly as he had thought.

‘He has set his heart on flying the Lynx but he has to pass his exams and complete his training. He will need at least 18 months’ air experience before the Army would even think about sending him to a war zone.’
Another source added: ‘If he does end up flying a Lynx, there’s no guarantee he will go to war. He could be sent to an earthquake zone or a recovery mission.’

It will be a blow to Harry, who returned from a secret mission to Helmand province in Afghanistan in March last year after ten weeks on the front line.

He has said he is keen to go back to war and has made it clear he doesn’t want special treatment within the Army because of his Royal status.

‘To get out to Afghanistan again would be fantastic and my best chance is to do it in a helicopter,’ Harry said in June.

He accepted that he may not be skilled enough to fly an Apache, but he is said to be a good pilot who, with the right training, could competently fly a Lynx.

US Weekly says they are off for good and just friends...time will tell I guess. I never realized how much she hated the attention, I think that is the main reason and her career.

^ I agree, I think Chelsy liked the "free and fun" Harry but he is a royal and will always have that baggage. I don't think she could handle that part. I still hope they work it out, I liked them together.

Second time lucky? Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy spotted on intimate night out

Single socialites all over the country will be waking up to bad news this morning as it seems Prince Harry may no longer be a bachelor.
Spotted leaving a Notting Hill bar with ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy last night, it appears the couple's apparently off romance may in fact be very much back on.

Reunion: Prince Harry and Chelsy were spotted together for the first time in almost a year

The pair were seen leaving Beach Blanket Babylon in West London just before midnight last night with another couple.
Both dressed down to avoid attention, Zimbabwean Chelsy donned a simple black dress while Harry opted for a smart but casual ensemble of jeans teamed with a blazer and shirt.
Although the two were not touching or holding hands, onlookers commented the two appeared close.
One said to The Sun: 'Harry and Chelsy looked very much like a couple. Harry was a real gentleman, making sure Chelsy was sat in the car before they shot off. They appeared to have quite a low-key night by their standards.'

Attentive: Harry made sure Chelsy was settled before the pair set off

After nearly ten months apart, this is the first time the pair have been spotted since Chelsy, 23, end her relationship with 25-year-old Harry in January.
Having met in 2004, they were together for five years and the latter was said to be keen to reunite with his former law student ex-girlfriend earlier this year.
Despite being linked to a string of other women, including Sky presenter Caroline Flack, the Prince reportedly told friends he was 'gutted' when Chelsy called off their romance.

It's so wrong that I'm crossing my fingers that they get back together. I think Chelsy would be great as a princess I know that's pretty far ahead but man I would love to see that wedding. They're probably friends or perhaps playing the CBK and JFK jr card and keeping it on the down low.

i think she's gorgeous but she doesn't seem like the princess type.

I think that is why I like her. I like Princesses that don't appear to be ones. Or don't try to live up to what a Princess should be. She isn't pretentious in any way or she doesn't come off as such. I find her...honest, in a way. She hasn't tried to change or become something for someone else and she enjoys herself. I think she would be great for the RF and she would add so much. I think the RF has forgotten so much of what Diana 'taught' them. I was watching The Queen (I know I know not exactly the perfect reference point) But I was watching some of the real clips of the RF and when Diana's brother was speaking and the crowd was applauding so loud outside you could hear from inside the Abby, I think they finally realized how much she and just being real mattered. I think Chelsy is kind of like that. She's real and wants to make her own way.

Thank You Thank You!

Prince Harry rekindles romance with Chelsy Davy with a date at the rugby

By Mail On Sunday Reporter
Last updated at 11:26 PM on 07th November 2009They have been remarkably coy about the rekindling of their romance.

But it seems that Prince Harry and on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy are slowly bringing their second-time-around relationship into the public eye.

The bashful couple braved the chill at the rugby this afternoon - but chose to sit apart during the first half for England's defeat to Australia at Twickenham.

All smiles: Despite the performance on the pitch, the couple both looked cheerful

But with just one friend placed between them, they were not fooling many spectators.
Particularly as the 25-year-old Royal looked put out as Chelsy and his friend larked about together and left him out of the fun.
Later, as England slumped to a miserable defeat, Chelsy sat next to the prince, and appeared to be trying to cheer him up.

Harry, a keen sports fan, dressed in a blue beanie, a casual green jacket, black zip-up top and jeans while Chelsy wore a bright blue jumper, leather jacket and gold scarf.
The pair have been spotted out together in the past few months as rumours grew in Royal circles that they were still in touch.

Chelsy was at Harry's 25th birthday party at Raffles in September, although they took care care not to be photographed together, and they celebrated the successful completion of his helicopter course at a London bar last month.

The Prince never gave up hope of winning back his Zimbabwean-born girlfriend of five years, even though she had summer flings with property developer Dan Philipson and banker Dominic Rose.
Meanwhile, Harry had flings of his own with television presenter Caroline Flack and Armani PR girl Stephanie Haynes.

A source close to Chelsy said: ‘They are officially back together but it was a long process.

‘Chelsy was fed up with being known as Prince Harry’s girl and was adamant on forming a profile and identity of her own before she agreed to embark on a stressful relationship under constant media attention again.

Harry: I'll take the £14.60 chicken wrap and chips... and can I have my 20% Army discount please?

Royal service: Waitress Margo Bolotskikh who served Prince Harry at a Nando's restaurant in Stevenage

As third in line to the Throne, Prince Harry might be expected to dine on the most exquisite food in the most elegant palaces – not chicken and chips in a fast-food joint in Stevenage.
But that’s exactly what he enjoyed last week, joining a group of Army friends for a low-key meal at a branch of Nando’s near their Hertfordshire base.
Staff offered to give him the £14.60 meal for free, but the 25-year-old Prince insisted on paying – although he did ask for the 20 per cent discount the chain offers to military personnel.
Richard Thompson, the 24-year-old manager of the restaurant, said: ‘When Harry came to the till my colleague was already shouting, “Prince Harry is here, Prince Harry is here.” She was so excited. I told her to calm down and treat him as a normal customer.
‘At first I did not believe her but when I saw him I knew it was true. When he came to the till I told him, “You do not have to pay, you can have it for free.”
‘Harry insisted he wanted to pay but he asked for his military discount.

'By then the bill had already been cashed up and it was too late. In the end he just agreed to pay the whole bill.’
Harry was accompanied by ten Army Air Corps comrades from a nearby RAF station – where he has been based after completing his basic helicopter training at RAF Shawbury last month – and three Royal Protection Officers, who sat at a separate table by the front door.

Each soldier paid for his own food and Harry had a £7.60 chicken breast fillet wrap with corn on the cob and extra cheese, and a £5.05 chicken breast fillet in pitta bread with a lemon and herb marinade – the mildest on offer.

He did not have a dessert but had a £1.95 soft drink and a bottle of Sagres beer, which one of his friends bought for him.
Mr Thompson said: ‘I kept the bottle. He’s one of those people you never think you’re going to meet.

'We’ve had singer Tinchy Stryder, model Melinda Messenger and Victoria Beckham’s sister in here but I never thought I would meet Prince Harry.

'He has such a presence – a very warm presence and his friends were really nice people too.
‘He’s got his faults but he does the best he can. I never thought I would meet him in Nando’s.’
Waitress Margo Bolotskikh, 17, from Portugal, said: ‘I only realised it was him as staff were saying, “It’s the Prince.” I have been in England for two months and already I have met Royalty.’
Mr Thompson said the party stayed for about an hour, leaving around 9pm, but the Prince did not leave a tip.
Mr Thompson said: ‘As Harry was leaving he just said to me, “Thank you, you have been very kind.” I got straight on the phone to my Mum and Dad. It was unbelievable.’
Clarence House said last night: ‘Prince Harry was in Stevenage with fellow students from his flying course because they were briefly based at the RAF station there.

'He and his course mates socialised that evening together.’

Chelsy Davy puts job on hold to see the world first

Last updated at 2:57 AM on 15th November 2009

Chelsy Davy has put off her training as a solicitor to see more of the world.
Prince Harry’s Zimbabwean girlfriend had been due to start a traineeship with top London law firm Allen and Overy but has deferred her place for a year after landing a bursary to go travelling.
The 24-year-old law graduate plans to tour Asia and Australia after spending New Year in South Africa with Harry.

Gap year: Chelsy Davy, pictured here with Prince Harry at Twickenham last week, plans to travel before joining top law firm

‘Chelsy is one of eight applicants to be accepted on the Allen and Overy course but she has deferred until September 2010 as she has been given a bursary to travel the world,’ a pal said.

‘She and Harry plan to go to South Africa for the New Year and they are hoping to be able to get to Lesotho, although Harry may not fit in the trip because of his Army commitments.

He has to be back at his Middle Wallop Army Air Corps base in early January.
‘Chelsy is very keen to visit Lesotho and see at first hand the work Harry has done with his charity Sentebale.

'She loves listening to his amazing stories and wants to experience that for herself.’
Sources say the couple, who have only just rekindled their on-off five-year relationship, plan to stay together while Chelsy embarks on her travels.
‘Harry is besotted with Chelsy and whatever she says goes. He will miss her when she goes travelling, but they will be spending a good week together over Christmas. She will also come back to England between her travels before next September and hopefully he can fly out to visit her,’ the source added.
‘Harry is keen for Chelsy to socialise with her group of friends and to not be constrained by Royal protocol.
'That was the problem in their relationship before. Chelsy likes to be her own person and Harry realises and respects that.’
Harry wasn’t at the Groucho Club in London last week where Chelsy was toasting her success.
A friend said: ‘Chelsy has done her law degree and has her place. She was celebrating last week with some of the people on her course. She was very excited about her future.’
