It would be exaggerating to call it definitively ugly—though a pair of giant overalls and saggy-backed, folded-front turn-up pants were close calls.

I wish someone would have said this sooner, I havent liked Chloe in a few seasons, Sarah is acting like this is the first season thier doing ill fitting menswear erk, womenswear. Big shapless coats with a bracelet sleeve, how chic.

Ugh, I wish Chloe did something new.

i'm not too knowledgeable with Chloé past collections, so i can't really compare this to anything they've done before, but i'm liking what I'm seeing, the colors, the shape(lessnes)s, i like how simple and edgy at the same time it is. The shoes look good, but i'm not sure after the Stam incident if they'll be a good/practical seller. But i totally see the apron-dresses on women wearing on the street. Good job Chloé!!!

to me, the shoes convey a sentiment of a hidden, naïve, perversion... the covered platform makes it look as if it's not even there, and gives the illusion that the foot is arched in a super-high angle.... fetishistic... yet, the shoe is quite sweet and not something you would 'typically' think of as being erotic or sexy at all... they're very poetic to me in a way....

I agree that style.com was way too harsh. I've never been a fan of Chloe, but last season was really good, and for some reason, I like this one even better. I have no idea why, though.

Why look for a new designer just for the namesake?

The design team is doing a fabulous job, and it's really consistent and true to what Phoebe used to do for Chloe....

i agree about the shoes..they are great...this collection was rather hit and miss for me....what i loved, i loved alot, and what i didn't like, i didn't like alot....some of it is just to loose...they should consider hiring a designer just to see what could be done for the house...

i nominate frida gianni she designs everything else, so why not chloe

i could not agree more...
i adore the shoes and the wooden 'shoemaker' aspect as well..
i think they take a lot of inspiration from viviennes westwoods famous platforms...but they are very much their own thing...
and i always prefer a 'covered' platform which makes the shoe more 'elegant' and 'refined' and just 'finished' nicer...
