Chloé F/W 10.11 Paris

did you all get the memo? Minimalism is is in.

Actually, as far as minimalism goes, this is my preferred take. Sporstwear classics done in great easy colors, big swaths of luxurious fabric, and super easy. What's not to like?

beats ripping off 10 year old helmut lang collections...:innocent:

lol

The good parts of this collection are the ones which are exactly like Phoebe Philos aesthetic and what she did for spring and her pre fall ( i hate her fall collection) , The crappy 80s fringe pants and jogger jumpsuits are Hannahs trademarks. Is this b!tch serious , fringe pants LOL :innocent:

can we talk for a minute about the look with the moon-boot?!?wth is that?
btw as everybody said, i really get a "Celine-P.Philo" vibe from this..i'm surprised because with Paulo they've been pretty fast to decide that his designs didn't suit the Chloè mood, of course this is more Chloè but even if this is probably one of the best she has done, all her collections are the same, same pants, same jacket, same cape..is she going to evolve at some point or Chloè's collections are going to look the same over and over?? every look is so neutral, so soft, so "safe"...the only stand-out look that i see is the last one of Raquel.

I agree - of the minimalist triumverate of Stella, Phoebe for Celine and Hannah for Chloe, I definitely prefer this.

It's not as boring as Stella's collection, or as stark as Phoebe's - it's still soft and gathered and essentially feminine and could easily be livened up with some great accessories and jewellery.

...and I don't understand the accusations of plagiarism of last season's Celine? This is, very clearly, a late '70s/early '80s inspired collection; whereas that, very clearly, was not.

Fashion is more than a colour (or lack of it).

What is the name of all that is holy in fashion are these tassel things - 51

They look like tiny tentacles. Um no thanks.

I seriously only like the last look. I'm sad cause I'm such a Chloe fan.

omg, Guess who just stepped out of the 1980s?!

This WHOLE collection is soooo outdated. From the leathers to the jumpsuits to the pants and to those bloody boring shades of brown. Geez Hannah what happened??

I agree, this whole collection looks so dated. There really is nothing new here... no modern energy to it.

I love minimalism, but this is a huge, huge disappointment. It's as if the current minimalist trend is taken as an excuse for designers to get lazy.

Surprisingly I don't hate some of it. It starts off nicely enough, I like Raquel and even Iselin's looks...and then we get to Jac, Kate and Mirte's looks and I'm ready to vomit! Moon boots?! :ninja:....child....someone tell this woman that those went out of style in the late 90s and I for once do not appreciate a forced resurgance of that look. I wish the colours were varied...but it's Chloe so I kinda of expect this palette.

Did she even bother to actually design anything in this collection? All I see is the work of a stylist, putting the clothes together in a mildly appealing way. However, I see no attempt to design anything, unless Hannah counts adding fringe to a pair of pants as some kind of innovative design attempt.

This is a terrible collection largely because of its absolute redundancy. We've seen those looks hundreds of times before and she is doing nothing new with them.

I just cannot fathom that she is still at a prestigious house like Chloe, which can only mean one thing; that women actually want to dress like this and buy into her vision.

The fringe is unremarkable. But I think the rest of the collection isn't.

No, there aren't any crazy pleats, prints, etc that you might call "designed", but the proportions, the fabric, the subtlety of a lapel, a length, a piping on the edge, the melange of a knit...it's a different kind of a design.

Understatement. And the ability for a customer to make these clothes her own. It's a powerful thing.

Am I the only one who likes the leather tracksuit on Magda? eek.

And I honestly don't really mind the beige palette. Yes, it's repetitive, but come on! It's Paris! All we've seen in most collections is black anyway.

ditto

I love it! Very simple and classic......just what i love in a collection.

Only the denim/western pieces are off for me.

Micheal Kors did a much better job with the neutral pallette in his F/W collection this season. Some of this actually reminds me of Kors.

I am getting a major 70s leisure suit vibe from this collection

I like a few items, but as a whole I find it boring

I am so sick of Chloe. I used to love it, but now it's just so bland and boring! -_-

Massively disappointing. Uninspired - sometimes tasteless - retro daywear in varying shades of cack. The ankle strap shoes are the only redeeming feature of this collection. The black leather outfit is a crime - as is the embroidered suit and denim shirt combo worn by Kasia - horrendous eurotrash...
