Chloe S/S 07 Paris

same old same old :innocent:
nice blouses and dresses. Shoes are my favorite so far. But I HATE how they layer certain pieces and some of the embellishments are just :yuk:
it's a hit/miss collection. They DO need a new head designer. Following the "what Phobe will do" mentality will kill this brand. They need human character and emotion in this!

Well said!:flower:

This is nothing new. Just the same thing with a different take. But I do like it for its same old same old. Chloe seems to be stuck where Pheobe left.

*blech* Some of the color combos are far too 70s, not refreshing in the least. I liked the one dress Gemma Ward was wearing - which seems to be a favorite with everyone else, too - but only because it reminds me of the spirit of previous collections. The shoes are AWFUL, and the handbags don't do much for me, either. Very upsetting from a label that has produced so many covetable accessories in the past. I was devastated when Chloe lost Stella McCartney, but Phoebe Philo assuaged any and all of my doubts. I don't think the label will fare as well following the loss of Philo, though. She was such a maverick talent, and even though she is greatly missed, I think she made the right decision in raising her baby. Fashion, after all, is nothing compared to family.

waaaaay too retro looking for my taste... both in terms of styling and in terms of colors...

as if i logged onto the vintage section on e-bay....:ninja:

the collection looks good (but I'm not really excited!) the style is cool, too. but what the f*** with these 70s-grandmother-flower-wallpaper prints!? it's horrible!! and why do those people want us to feel like in autumn in summer??!! why?!

yes,the prints are awful

i still like the chloe part of it, just not necessarily what the new designer brings to it for now.. i'm not quite ready for the patchwork yet. it is adorable and lovely though, and i just love some of the looks. however i think i'll wait for the next fall collection (like a kid waiting for christmas) to make my final opinion about the new(allthough it looks very much the same as the last collection) chloe.

^_^ oh this is nice, i very much like this.

I wouldn't know... but would these shoes be comfortable? They don't look like they would be...

some of these are really cool, with interesting color "mélanges" and very nice proportions...
and some others are just soooo random...
i think i liked the whole thing though...
and i saw a killer bag!

except the printed pieces and shoes
chloe is changing designers again after this season, so enjoy it while it lasts

overall i like it and is one of my favorite collections for s/s 07 ( this is saying alot cause this season didnt do it for me )

i don't like the prints or colors ( probably cause i'm more into black and white right now ) but i do like most of the pieces except for that mumu dress, a few overly voluminous cuts, and some of the boxier suiting, but i love the dresses and the blouses and the overall look of the collection

it isnt too different from what they have done before but i'm ok with that, i dont have to be shocked all the time, shocking is nice and can be lovely, but so far i havent seen much from designers that is pleasant to the eye, represents a complete aesthetic, and is wearable, this delivers that, even if it is classic pheobe, and if chloe does that well keep doing it until someone comes up with a stronger and relevant vision, bring a revolution maybe the new designer will a revolution to the house but for now i'm content with "boring"

Some of the pieces just look so frumpy! My granny might even think twice!
