Lmao...now he's a man of God? I seriously don't think that's the best way to spin this. As If he really went to his Pastor for counselling....who does he think he is Miley Cyrus?
I know this is stereotypical and not necessarily true, but the African American population is highly religious, so I don't have any reason to doubt that.
"You think you know somebody, but you really don't," he told People.
That statement has obviously been written by his PR team and he had nothing to do with its redaction.“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds.”
CHRIS BROWN'S OFFICIAL STATEMENT
Finally, Chris Brown has just issued an official statement through his spokesperson concerning the assault situation with Rihanna . This is indeed a real statement and not a hoax like others have been posting from fraudulent Facebook/Myspace pages. The statement was issued directly to media outlets from his PR reps at Sitrick And Company, Inc. It reads in its entirety:
“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired.

If you read between the lines, it is also deeply offensive:
1- he is sorry about what has been written, not about what he's done, which is of course a way to sound contrite without admitting any guilt or wrongdoing whatsoever.
2- he is seeking God's help because he knows Middle America in general and African-Americans in particular love a good holy redemption story.
The fact that what he really needs is see a f****** psy here is beyond the point. When you want to sell record Jesus>>>>Freud.
3- not a single mention of Rihanna or expression of concern over her well-being because his team is trying to turn the angle of the story in his favour, him the poor the lost boy on the road to redemption. Don't you feel sorry for him? Let's all pray for him.
I have been really willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and being compassionate to both sides, and tried to understand him before damming him but by agreeing to that kind of PR nonsense being released in his name, he is just done for me.
A$$hole!
Imagine what's being paid to this PR company, contemplate the cost per word of this statement, and then realize this is the very best they could come up with ...
To be honest, I am a bit disappointed in the statement his PR team released... he should have mentioned something about Rihanna's well being... afterall we have yet to see any pics of her showing the world that she is indeed fine.
Moreover, Chris Brown has mentioned before that he grew up singing in the church... so it's fine that at this time of self reflection and self improvement, he should turn to his faith.
