Christian Dior Haute Couture F/W 07.08 Versailles: Pre-Show Discussion

They're pretty much saying it's going to be a complete rehash of past Dior Couture shows but multiply the drag factor.

Uhm, celebrating 60 years of couture plus 8 hours of hair and makeup? That's pretty much a drag queened out retrospective.

Maybe there´s a lot of rehearsal going on as well, actually 8 hours maybe aren´t that much regularly at Dior shows..., this is the first time we get to know the timing needed for preparations, so, who knows, if his last cruise show was any sort of indication, i think will see a lot of luxury parading down Versailles, maybe a lavish, indean themed extravaganza, a midnight summer dream of haute couture... will it be inside the building, or outside in the garden?

I just hope that everything will go ok mishaps wise, so we can watch the video on July the 3rd.

i am really afraid about this too... what if it's getting too big, and we are getting too impatient and excited and we shouldnt? maybe we are gonna be decieved after all (lets hope not)

I hope it will happen in both... eventhough, imo, it will be better in the park!!... ah so dreamy... I wish I could be a female model for one day...

This is going to be quite a couture season. You have Valentino with his 45th anniversary bonanza and now you have Dior.

Maybe if I find a canoe.... I can paddle my way to france... find a horse to trek to Versailles... kidnap an invitation from an unwitting invitee... then unpack my violin and join the orchestra.

Is it just me or does it seem like every other couture show is some special occasion? Dior's Birthday, Galliano's 10th year, etc. Seems like they'll squeeze out any reason to make Galliano's efforts seem relevant.
