Christian Dior Rtw S/s 2005

I really like that top. I think some of the pieces really could work off the runway. It's all a matter of disecting it all.

It looks cheap. Wet Seal, Zara, Mango, H&M, Contempo Casuals, Forever 21. I'm sure Dior's quality is better than those but by the looks of it, you can't tell. I'm just shocked by how bad this is. Ugh. Perhaps Galliano needs a break. I think he's out of ideas.

yes, the entire video is up now...

Wow, this collection shocked the hell outta me. I give a major A for effort because it seems as though John is trying to move on from the theatrics and drama. However, it lacked a few things, direction, continuity and that feeling of over the topness that John does so well. Next season I hope that he integrates the thing he was attempting here with a bit of the spark that he was obviously trying to avoid.

The 1st section of clothing kind of reminds me of the Olsens...might just be the big plastic sunglasses

That's what I was thinking.

i just saw the video and found that the show was not so bad
i love the music

and there were two parts of the show ! a little special this time

PS:something wrong with the video link i think..... FW04PAP?

:yuk: The more I see, the more I hate it. Just terrible, with the exception of like 1% of the show.

I am going to take the unpopular position and say that I overall love the show. I think that the t-shirt designs and jackets are fabulous. A lot of the collection seems to be a feminized twist to Michael Kors-esque bohemian chic, which I like. I also like his tongue-in-cheek take on the retro preppy trend with his "dior golf" pieces. That silver suit is something I can see on Patsy from Ab Fab (which is a good thing). The only thing I really didn't like are the crazy early 70s bloomer pants with huge frill bottoms...so fugly...
