LOVE this collection! Its beautiful. Well, most of it; I don't like the animal prints or the lingerie. But all the other dresses are so feminine, delicate, pretty and wearable! Its like Galliano mixed with Valentino, and in my mind, you can't do better than that!

This is so .. boring ! I expected kinda more. Yes I like the collection, it's nice but nothing what would pick up myself from the chair. Some pieces are really unique but in overall, I'm not really impressed.

I love Galliano's HC work much much better then RTW.

So Cavalli stopped using the horrible animal prints, and now Galliano's got them? Why, God, why?? Hopefully his own collection will be better. He has to make up for this one..

argh hate the pinstripe waistcoat outfit, I can soooo imagine Victoria Beckham wearing that.
However, I love the 1920s flapper 'prostitute chic' (as someone put it). On the other hand, I think that if that was the look he was going for, it could have been done a bit better.
Overall I like it tho and I love the set of pastel coloured dresses too,

and honestly I think this big part of the "new" direction...

Honestly, I think John had an urge for that open slot at Valentino a while back and wanted to give it a stab....

i immediately saw the change from steven robinson not being able to have a say in this collection, i miss him...without robinson, gallianos magic isnt much...

im dissapointed...i thought that after a stellar f/w collection and cruise collection this would be great..

I find it funny that the clothes are incredibly bland and uncreative but john's "bow" is still so pompous and larger than life...kind of sad really..

I'm honestly really suprised more people don't like this collection. Sure, its not as fun and dramatic as previous collections, but most of it is none-the-less gorgeous, imo.
Oh, and I thought the hair and make-up on the models was gorgeous and perfect for the clothes.

some of it's not bad, but the animal prints are so horrific that one forgets the stronger parts of the collection. the leopard print bowler hats and zebra stripes are just too distracting.

i also loved the dresses tanya d., lindsay ellingson, raquel z. and flavia (it was flavia, right?) wore. and natasha poly was looking faaabulous!
