Well this is much better than F/W 09.10. The fabrics always look impeccable at Dior, and the colours are all terrific. The bags looks great as well, but I'm not feeling the socks and heel duo.
The hair and make-up looks gorgeous on the models. I'm a sucker for 1940's/50's glamour.

I wish people would just accept the direction in which Dior has gone. Yes, its not the extreme silhouettes we used to see but these are wearable clothes targeted to the "real" Dior customer.

I like to think of it like this, if I had a date would I rather show up in a stunning jacket and skirt or go as a kabuki actor???

Well just because it was kabuki on the runway does not necessarily mean you would have to step outside of the house that way. I would hope one would have more personal style than to wear an entire runway look head-to-toe.....

And like I said, it's not about the theatrical. There are ways to strike that balance between what is wearable and modern with what is covetable, intriguing, and specific to a designer's true vision. John is too much of a lively person to be fully in this.
