One of my all time favorite Dior by Galliano collection.
I have always loved the soft sexiness about it. It’s very seductive, very Dior in spirit without being about all the usual codes we generally associate with Dior.
Maybe the best pants he ever did and I have always been obsessed by the biais cut dresses on Angela Lindvall and Suzanne von Aichinger (that were hard to find Vintage for a longtime and that are now totally out of reach). I have always loved the styling (the tank top with a biais skirt), the accessories…The soundtrack was fabulous…And then the campaign by Demarchelier too.
The quiet side of Galliano is always underrated but it’s really there that you see his genius. Geniuses always shines in simplicity anyway.
