I saw some leather, it looked well made. A particular stand out was a zippered leather hoodie - I loved the concept! However, it did not project that timeless sense that CDiem does - it looked more akin to Collection Privee, which is not a bad thing.

cosign. very similiar to collection privee- unlike cdiem. i didn't see the zipper leather hoodie though- would like to see that piece.

Those python/anaconda boots do look like something special. Cheers, runner

i know the 'designs' are not as timeless and as edgy as carpe diem but the workmanship and quality seems quite up there...

GB is less specific.
so it could have more potential wearers.
at the same time some might think it doesn't have to be GB.
as faust said, it's not bad at all.
generally good leather pieces which just need something definitive, or a bit too sporty for me.
still always one or two I'd like to wear, usually the simplest piece of the collection.

he seems to use some vegetable, fruit, and sometimes wine in the process.

thanks runner for your thoughts. so what's the deal with c diem now anyway? you mentioned it's been 'transferred' to wjk? so is wjk operating the label now? or they're just the reps for japan since they recently opened a ltd shop for c diem? kinda confused especially w regards to this wjk brand... i really like the premise and many items of the brand but they're all cut for tiny tiny people...

I didn't say "transferred".
and as mentioned, that's not true as far as I know.
it's that cdiem products have been congigned to wjk. maurizio still has some interest in cdiem.
and I don't know the fact that wjk opened a limited store for cdiem in Tokyo.
opening a limited store is wjk's usual practice. so it's natural for them to have the plan though.

the wjk site once (they've taken it done since this week) had cdiem as part of their 'group' structure that's why i was asking...

thanks anyway

Thanks Runner as always for acquiring great photos!

I've been sitting on the fence in regards to the twist jeans. There was a pair briefly up on ebay but the photos weren't great and they were SO wrinkled!

Does anyone have a clearer shot of them being worn? The photo Runner posted of the Japanese guy wearing twist jeans seems to show him wearing a different style (raw edged for the twist).

Any of you guys who bought them, could I trouble you for a photo?

Cheers,
Albert

you're welcome Chinor1z

from photos of the asian model, who is about 190, wearing the twist jeans in a size 50, they didn't look so bellows-y.
it's like oversized skinny jeans looking a bit loose and wrinkling lightly.
the silhouette seems basically almost the same as the non twist version which you can see in the A/W 06 photo of the model wearing that leather jacket posted somewhere.
just with the wrinkles

maybe if you wear a smaller size and therefore the legs get tighter,
or also if you are tall and accordingly the legs are long,
they may not be wrinkled so hard, being worn.
so I guess they can be worn differently depending on the length and the size.

their being rather warm for jeans could be another thing we have to take into consideration.
