harvey nichols in london? i went there 1 month ago and asked the staff if Carpe Diem on sale later or not, they replied ''never goes on sale''......
i remember those leather shirts only have size 3 and 4.

I think this may got to do with the fact that the designer might be taking less involvement.. or Harvey Nicks.. trying to discontinue the line????

From jcreport.com, interview with Diane Pernet on designers using technology:

"JCR: Which fashion brands can you identify that are using technology to their greatest advantage?

DP: An Italian brand [Carpe Diem] in Paris that sells at L'Eclaireur has a loft/garage space in the 20eme and a camera, so that the clients can talk directly to the factory — it's all quite cyber and interesting; they've been doing it for years. Raf Simons has always been interested in the value of technology, as well as Boudicca, Issey Miyake, and Eley Kishimoto. I'm sure there are many others, but I don't have that information on the tip of my tongue."

Am I covering something that has been talked about already? Personally I hadn't heard about this before.

Hmmm, interesting. I think runner mentioned that they use a digicam to take your photos upclose in their Paris showroom and then send them to the factory, but I haven't heard of that...

you're welcome Angie

maybe it is talking about X18?
it has a function which mirrors what is happening there so that the counterpart in Perugia catches it simultaneously.
a mutual device for Sartoria outdoor/Anatomica project,
movable stage where the wearer is involved in the making process between the garage and rust-belt tomato packhouse.
I don't know whether it is still working.

I saw some leather, it looked well made. A particular stand out was a zippered leather hoodie - I loved the concept! However, it did not project that timeless sense that CDiem does - it looked more akin to Collection Privee, which is not a bad thing.
