Strange old-school, and styling is awful, but I still like them.

The second ad looks a little better. I guess it's safe to say that the guys outshine the girls by a mile in these ads. Conrad, John and Guy look incredibly good!

^Its the Fall 05 ones maybe? I know which ones you're stalking about. They stared Snejana Onopka, Inguna Butane and Lisa Cant I believe. All in black and white and mirrored. That's what I thought of too when I saw it.

The concept is a little lackluster for me only because like Plato said, it evokes the same sort of image as an old campaign. However, I still absolutely love the casting. Very fresh and modern.

ETA - Its also somewhat reminiscent of the old Dior ads with Angela Lindvall in the mirrored room with the cherry blossoms!

Oh dear. Angela's Dior Ads own these pictures. I hate D&G adverts, they always look like droids.

^Glad someone else got the reference, and yes they completely trump these ads.

I'm still ambivalent overall, but I think that this second shot is far better than the first one, for what its worth. Maybe I'm just burnt out on mirrors? Or ugly, chopped up wigs (read: Lanvin!), or jumping. Its just odd that I really like Alexandra and Marta and cannot get excited about these. Oh well, no use lamenting.

I don't know why, but I find this set of ads revolting...like constipated 60s space age retro. It's stone cold - in a really bad way. On the bright side Marta looks like a young Andy Warhol (in his wildest dreams).
